For a unique and authentic country store experience, hit up Singleton's. They sell a variety of items from Vermont liquors to cheeses and an assortment of meats, guns, ammunition, clothing, etc. It was a fun stop!

Stop here for the best local smoked bacon either to take home or in a sandwich. Store has everything from clothing, fresh vegetables and meat, grocery items, guns, antique items, stuffed animals, and large selection of Vermont made products including Maple liqueur. Sandwiches are inexpensive and very popular with locals. Friendly owner and staff.

Rode up there last summer to be different and it was! We we're honored by the owner who gave us a guided tour right through to the Smoke House! I bought Smoked Bacon,... More

Their sign says it all. It is an oldschool general store that has a great butcher shop, smoked meats and fish, good cheeses, basic supplies, clothing, shoes, guns and booze.

Who wouldn't love a quintessential Vermont general store with a twist? "Whisky Guns Ammo" is their tag line outside the door, but if you spend some time inside you'll see it should also read: "Clothing, home-made sausage and fresh local produce."

There is everything that a small town Vermonter will need. Great sandwiches, fresh honey bees, groceries, boots, gloves, slippers, and even beer and wine!!! They even make fresh butter, and smoked meats.
