Decent drinks, coffees and sandwiches with fair prices, but service is just a bit slow for city slickers!

We ate both lunches at this charming cafe in the middle of tiny Proctorsville. They offer breakfast all day. We had grilled cheese, salads, bagels, yogurt parfaits. Fantastic homemade pastries and breads. No alcohol. Wonderful food!
We are early raisers and she was open at 6:00. Owner very sweet and attentive, works hard. Unique history of the building. Great sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.
A good breakfast at a fair price - no complaints. The cafe is clean, has friendly and fast service and has a nice little selection of items from the area for sale.

This is a nice place to pop in to when traveling through Cavendish. We always enjoy their little pies and happy treats.

Read all the great reviews and was looking forward to it. Server did not seem like she enjoyed her job. I had the Omelette and it was very very ordinary. Pastry's were good! I had higher expectations based on others reviews.
