I was pleasantly surprised that the baked goods I chose were not only fresh, but that delicate flavors made them more than just sweet. There is something special about this small bakery!

Everything is home made fresh right there. We love everything we get. Turnovers, muffins, donuts (especially chocolate covered), cardomom coffee cake, If you like carbs for breakfast this is a great place to get them! We generally just get take-out but there are some tables...if you want to eat in. Coffee is good also! (Haven't tried them, but chef makes wedding cakes too!)More

We stopped here for breakfast while staying in Cavendish. The pastry all looked fabulous, but we wanted something a little more hardy for breakfast. We both ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a fresh made roll. Because of the set-up, we were able to...look down and see the person making our breakfast in the midst of cakes being frosted and other newly baked items waiting to be removed from their pan. We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwich and coffee. On our way out we decided, we couldn't leave without each buying a piece of pastry to snack on later. Highly recommend a stop here.More

They make their own pastries there and the coffee was very good. Can’t imagine you find better in the area. Prefer it over the places that order their stuff from some manufacturer.

Each summer our family rents a cabin near Ludlow. At least two mornings we go to Sweet Surrender to pick some pastries for breakfast and get some great coffee. Each of us pick one item for breakfast and another item to enjoy later in the...day. The favorite treat is the Marble Brownie. A couple times we went up the Okemo mountain road to have a "breakfast picnic" with an awesome view! They even have dog treats, so everyone is happy!More

I wanted to get a birthday cake to celebrate a birthday while we were visiting Okemo and came across this place online. I ordered a chocolate ganache cake, and made arrangements to pay for it and pick it up after we arrived in town. We...were a day late picking it up, but there was no problem. The cake was very good and quite reasonably priced. Would totally go to this bakery again. TIP: Their hours are wonky (5:30am to 3:00pm), they don't take plastic, and if you prepay and want to pick up your cake later in the day they will leave it at the Killarney pub next door. Ahhhhh, Vermont.More

Cute place with good coffee and friendly staff. If you are looking for a cookie and dessert and a cup of coffee this is the place to go. Not really much of a bread selection. Next to the Irish Pub on the Okemo Road.

Great find! Many delicious sweet treats to pick from. Wonderful coffee too! The inside is so charming, love the woodwork. You can eat there either on the first floor or second floor. Very inviting and warm atmosphere. It's a small place which I like and...the person working there was very nice.More

Chocolate chip cookies, magic bars, raspberry oat bars-what else can you stuff in your face while driving back home? Basically anything they make simply rocks. Love it.
