Just like the TV show this pub makes everyone feel at home and welcome. Owen, the bartender, personally welcomes everyone and the wait staff continues the friendliness. The weekend music can't be beat. The pub fare menu is anything but fair, it's fantastic! One thought... Being as a "tourist". I would appreciate some local brews other than Long Trail and/or... Nice little pub set up. Food was just slightly under average. Can't get a Black an Tan but you can get a half and half- whatever. Stew was meaty but salty. Services was frenetic.

When an Irish pub is better than Cheers, then you know it will be good. We were driving from Bennington to Burlington last month during a leaf peepers tour, when we turned off to Killington cos the guide book said that they may have some lifts working for a trip up the mountainside. The lifts were not going, they were... More

If you're looking for the atmosphere, food and libations of an Irish Pub, this is the place you want to go if you're in the Killington area. Nothing fancy or modern about this place which has been around for many years. It's even built into the side of the mountain so the rock garden is pretty cool. If you like... More

Check this place out for a quick bite. Great bar area and live weekend music. Food was good and walls are covered with interesting displays.

McGrath's Irish Pub is located inside the Inn at Long Trail- and yes, they do serve Long Trail beer that's brewed in Woodstock, VT!. It is a small bar and dining room but intimate with eclectic Irish decor. It was not loud or noisy. The menu includes salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches and traditional Irish fare. The place was bustling... More

Being Irish and having been to Ireland a couple of times, I was looking forward to going to the Irish Pub during foliage season. We went during lunch so maybe the food is better at dinner time? I had the Guinness stew, which was alright, but not great. Maybe if I was more of a meat eater, I would have... More

I will have to say the resturant is unique looking, now to the food the onion soup very good, the chicken pot pie was soupy and the pie crust top appeared to be undercooked Not browned at all and hard to cut with knife..........service pretty good Maybe an off night

It was a very nice place with great people that work there. Great atmosphere. Just the food wasn't that great and that includes the waiting time.

We were staying at an inn in Killington, Vermont, and this pub was recommended by two different people. Loved the shamrock that topped off our Guiness, plus the stew and Irish Reuben sandwich were wonderful. Our tour guide of the day recommended the chocolate Irish soda bread with the Irish crème whiskey sauce on top, and it was great. We... More
