Food is best on property and overpriced overall for quality. Food was pretty good. Steak 12 oz grilled veggies and mashed potatoes for $38.00 is reasonable considering resort. Dumplings good, Caesar salad and burger all good. Thanks Lisa for great service and energy.

Service was pretty slow and didn't seem to care much. Food was just OK. Typical bar type fare and overall very limited. Atmosphere is like an old cafeteria. But the options are lacking at the base so you take what you get!

We had a large group of 15 (8 adults + 7 kids), and, despite making a reservation 1.5 hours ahead of time, the staff were unwilling to accommodate seating us near one another. After many conversations with the staff, we finally got seated in the...same vicinity 40 minutes after our reservation (although there were empty tables nearby that would easily accommodate us). The $18 burger I ordered as medium came back very well done and charred, but because of the late hour, there was no time to send it back. Very over-priced for poor-to-decent quality food.More

Very pricey for some crummy food. Not much taste in any of the dishes, all beef was tasteless including the shrimp dishes’. Although the service is very friendly! Not the quickest service on weekends.

Quality service from our waiter. My Scallop and Squid ink pasta was delicious, but there were only 4 smallish scallops... for $34 I expected a few more. The duck wontons were very savory and rich. Nice and crispy. Good amount of them were provided. Poutine...was crispy and Covered in a tasty gravy... I don't even normally like gravy, so I was surprised. Overall pleasant dining experience.More

We enjoyed dining at The Foundry on 2 occasions during a recent visit to Jay Peak Vt. The food was excellent, service good and value good. The Flat Bread pizza was outstanding. Highly recommend!!

We ate here on our last day of skiing. The views were great, the service was nice too. The food was excellent! I had a mushroom pizza which was delicious! Portions are big enough to share.

I usually don't really appreciate the food or the service at restaurants/cafes in Ski resorts. At best, food is edible, service so so and always overpriced. The Foundry, at Jay Peak Resort, stands out as a venue where the food is good, service very decent...and prices are reasonable. On my scale of value for money spent, they get 4 stars over 5.More

We visited Jay Peak for two nights and I took my boys (3 nineteen year old and one 15 year old)out for dinner the first night; not only was the food reasonably priced but it was delicious. Our waitress, Jennifer, surpassed our expectations and we...had a fantastic dinner! Thank you!More

My daughter and I just experienced a once in a lifetime dinner at The Foundry. I have never said that about any restaurant but this was an incredible and quite frankly enchanting evening. We knew no one when we arrived and when we left, we...had been graced by Marty the host, Jenn the bartender (daughter of Marty and BC grad!), Pete the head chef, Emily and Meghan were servers, John the Pizza guy, and Cindy the General Manager. There were obviously more people working but in the 90 minutes that we were there it felt like family and these people were part of the family. 1st off, we ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and we like simple Buffalo Mild. The head chef Pete comes out and says they don’t have that specific sauce but would we like a BBQ and Buffalo combo that tamed the Buffalo a bit. We said “yes” and these wings were some of the most mouth watering wings we have ever tasted! When my daughter is quiet then I know she loves the food and she was silent as she ate these wings! The main course arrived and we were awestruck…….the most tender and juicy Ribeye Steak EVER! Rainbow baby carrots!?!?! I have never even heard of them but they were so tasty! The mashed potatoes were yummy! My daughter had the Tagliatelle pasta which was also mouth watering in a unique sauce and to be honest we had never even heard of that kind of pasta! Unbelievable! What tonight showed me was that a group of normal people can make a magical experience for diners and Cindy has crafted a balanced and powerful team of normal but AMAZING individuals. I can’t say enough about this experience except……go there and enjoy the ambience and the folks that run this place. They are amazing and the restaurant is off the charts! Jay Peak has outdone itself with this hidden gem right inside the main lodge!!! Thanks Foundry and thank you Cindy for an unforgettable evening! Wow!More

What a joke. Chicken on a bed of lettuce that seemed to be 3 days old. I'd rather eat Tyson microwaved wings than this garbage. The only redeeming quality was the waiter and bartender. Great drinks, friendly server. (possibly Matt). Oh, friend said his burger...may have been left over from lunch. Go offsite to eat at Jay. Food is garbage.More
