Not sure how we didn't find this restaurant sooner as we've been spending long weekends in Manchester for a few years now ! The rustic atmosphere lends to a casual, but upscale experience. Wonderful service, food and conversation at the bar. Just listening to the...More

Love to sit at the bar and tonight was no exception. Steak Frites is always a favourite combined with Asian appetisers. We decided to take home a dessert - 20 Layer Crepe Cake. First thing tomorrow morning I am calling to see if they have...More

First time to this restaurant. Definitely not the last! We frequent Manchester and love the area, especially during high fall foliage season. But we are here this weekend for my husband Orvis fishing lessons and our Anniversary. We decided to try something different upon the...More

Loved this place. A classic Vermont restaurant with a combination of old Yankee vermont with modern touches, like the oil/hurricane lamps; nice bar. The food was terrific. We went for the three course prix fixe meal at $38. What a buy. Tasty mushroom bisque, as...More

This restaurant is in an old refurbished barn. It has character and very cozy. Food was delicious and staff friendly. I would suggest a reservation. Open wed-sun and call after 2:00 for reservations. We had late reservations and I called after 2:00 the same day...More

Excellent all the way around. They have a very charming bar and have a pre-fix night for those on a budget. Much of the food is procured from local and/or small family farms. High-quality food and a great bar. Chef-owned.

Rustic building but was highly recommended. Food and service turned out to be a great value, with a good wine list.

What is the dress code for this restaurant? Also, what does the interior setting? I've looked online & I've only found 8 photos, all of which were rather dark. Just trying to plan for our first outing there this weekend. Many thanks for you help!

This is a lovely rustic restaurant, and I found most of the diners were in "dressy" casual clothes -- no shorts or torn jeans. The servers were charming and the real emphasis is on the great food.
How much is parking?

There is quite a large parking lot which is FREE to park in. You are basically out in the boondocks so no nearby commerce to jam things up. I hope you enjoy your visit there.
