A local hotel manager recommended this pub. We tried some of the specialty dishes, but were unimpressed. I had a Scottish stew which had a generous helping of the local cheese, which smothered an flavor in the stew. On the positive side, there were a lot of locals in this pub.

Enjoyed a casual meal here. Nice service. Fun atmosphere, filled with Scottish decor. Pleasantly quiet on a Sunday night. I eat gluten free (wheat allergy) and enjoyed a loaded baked potato. My son, who has several food allergies, including nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, beans and seeds, had a delicious burger and chips.

Arrived on a snowy Friday afternoon. We ventured into the pub. Our server was a nice Scottish gentleman who was very attentive. I had the Queen Mary of Scots and my Mom had the Steak pie. That was amazing! It was comfortable and clean. We wanted to go back for dinner with my sister but it was packed. Great place!

Nice Scottish pub with many interesting beers. You can get a flight to taste the different kinds. Service was good, waiters wore kilts. The food was good, pub type food with some interesting Scottish choices. I ate more American food and it was very good.

Small Scottish Pub within walking distance from downtown Chester. Very cozy (small) but one of the only games in town. Good for sandwiches and burgers, but nothing fancy. Reasonably priced. Warm atmoshere.

Great staff and awesome food. My wife had bangers and mash and I had the Ole Willy. Finished it with a Sticky Toffee Pudding.

This is a small pub with good beer and tasty food and a great atmosphere. It was packed on a Saturday night. We were seated with our kids. It isn't really a family restaurant but they have a kids menu, crayons and we're welcoming. Our kids enjoyed it and we really had a good time. I would definitely come back... More

Our hotel recommended we try this place for dinner. We love pub fare and found the restaurant to be beautiful with lots of gorgeous wood trim and a beautiful deck to sit on. The food was just alright-nothing to brag home about. The service was also just okay. Place was nearly empty and seemed kind of tired. Wouldn't return.
