As soon as I walked into the lobby, I felt uplifted by the classic yet modern decor. Natural materials, great layout, open setup. The burger and home made fries were outstanding - perfectly made and delicious. The burger meat was local and tasted very fresh....More

Last night, I ordered two Patron and Seltzers and was shocked at the $32 bill. I understand I called for Patron, but a $16 drink in Burlington, VT is just exorbitant. No wonder it was not busy on a gorgeous night. Extremely disappointed and unlikely...More

The menu is unique and everything we ordered was delicious. Try the oxtail poutine, which is really just fried with cheese and gravy but oh so much better!

I had a burger at the bar, with fries, and it was really very good (albeit on the expensive side). Lots of variety on the brunch/lunch menu — soups, salads, burritos, egg dishes, and sandwiches, including the burger. Urban, young, upbeat dining environment. I enjoyed...More

We had breakfast at the Juniper which is in the Vermont hotel. We had duck eggs with corned beef hash, organic blueberry pancakes, fried duck eggs with bacon & sausage and a breakfast sandwich. All with locally sourced products and all very good. We also...More

I chose the Juniper because I was staying at the Hotel Vermont (the restaurant is off the lobby) because I had a long drive to get to Burlington and the outside weather was cold and rainy. What a delightful surprise the restaurant turned out to...More

I heard this was a great spot for a nice farm to table meal in Burlington but I was pretty unimpressed overall. Very expensive for what we got. Ingredients and menu sound great but the overall experience was just "meh".

This is a casual dining spot in the Hotel Vermont. The coffee was very good; menu is relatively brief but quality ingredients and some imagination added to the usual fare . One of us had the eggs benedict which had two very large, perfectly poached...More

We had high hopes, but ultimately everyone in our party ended up quite disappointed with our visit. The server was incredibly unknowledgeable - one of the party asked her for more info on the salmon dish and her reply was "it's a good cut of...More

Juniper is Hotel Vermont's local, ingredient-driven cocktail bar. Created by Executive Chef Doug Paine, Juniper's menu is a celebration of individual and community effort, of small local producers growing and raising food, brewing beer, distilling spirits, and making wine. Check out the local live music scene and the custom cocktails made with Vermont spirits, as well as the outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Champlain with a cozy working fire pit.
