Muddy Waters is located near the Burlington waterfront and is a cool coffee handout. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and found it packed with cool student types. The coffee, however, didn't seem to be the main event - which was the decor and vibes.

My cappuccino was lukewarm so asked to have a second made. The second was not much warmer. C'mon guys, it's a coffee shop and February. Nice atmosphere. Food options very limited. Unlikely to go back.

This place reminds me of the old coffee shops in the 80s, when the coffee shop first started taking off in the U.S. Dark and cozy, no wifi, newspapers and a variety of coffees and teas, including mate. Also tasty sweets.

I went with a friend and we wanted something simple so we got smoothies. They were perfect: texture, taste, amount. They have great options for smoothie bases (almond, soy, yogurt, or regular milk) and fresh ingredients

Muddy Waters is not on Church Street, so is totally local. Relaxed atmosphere with an alternative vibe. People meet there for conversation or to be alone.

Cozy, inviting, great location with street parking out front. Friendly people, great drinks. (Ice chai and iced mocha) very good flavor; tasted authentic like, not just cheep chemical tasting. No 'slushy' like drinks available Very impressed. Definitely recommend.

Awesome place to get a fabulous cup of coffee and sit to enjoy it. Alot of coffee places don't have inviting atmospheres or even room to sit awhile but muddy waters does which is just what we wanted. And fair prices on very rich quality coffee.
