We ordered nachos, I did not think they were anything special. The chicken chili on the nachos had more beans in the chili than chicken. I wouldn't run back to this place to eat as I was pretty disappointed.

We took the day after Thanksgiving to visit the Long Trail Brewery to drink their brew at the source. First off, the site is very beautiful and the facility takes advantage of that fact. One can stand outside around a firepit, overlooking the picturesque river, or, there is also heated tent seating (much like Germany!), and of course, the Munich... More

Today we stopped at LT for the Vermont Brewery Challenge. Roy was fantastic, friendly & informative! Was very awesome service, the beer was delicious. They had a special soup which was the best soup I've ever had (something cheddar!) The sliders & buttermilk fried chicken were okay (very dry) and over priced for what it was. I will certainly be... Stopped by Long Trail on our way back from visiting breweries up in the Stowe/Burlington area. The location of this place is amazing...incredibly scenic, nice calm river in the back just off the deck. Had a quick lunch, and the food was great. Also got a couple flights of beers and they all tasted great! Very friendly staff, and clean... More

On our way from Manchester to Saratoga we took the scenic route to Plymouth to visit the Calvin Coolidge homestead, only to find it closed for the season. After doing some shopping at the nearby Cheese Factory we asked if there was good place nearby for lunch. We were directed to the Long Trail Brewing Co. where we enjoyed a... More

The nice ladies at the Bridgewater Country Store told us about the Long Trail Brewing Company and Pub, and I'm so glad they did! We stopped for dinner en route from Woodstock to Killington. I had a generous bowl of white chicken chili, topped with shredded cheddar cheese and served with tortilla chips. My spouse had the corn and popcorn... More

Our first visit here and we liked it. Was a cool and overcast day and they had a fire going inside which was nice. We had a burger and a pulled pork sandwich along with 2 beers (Long Trail Ale & Green Blaze IPA). We had to wait a bit for a table so had a beer while waiting. The... More

We stop in for lunch. I had Reuben sandwich and my wife had the burger. My sandwich was very good. Her burger was excellent. We stop in the fall but there is a great deck next to the river that would be outstanding in the summer to have a beer.

Lovely creek side setting is unexpected at a brew pub! Food was great and a varied beer selection. Service was excellent. I had the pulled pork sandwich along with a seasonal beer....yummy. I will return on our next visit to Vermont!

Sat outside by the stream with fall foliage around and had the best white chicken chili ever! Paired with a Double Bag ale made a beautiful autumn day. Great friendly service! Highly recommend.

Description
Located on the banks of the Ottauquechee River, our brewery and brew pub offers a seasonally rotating menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients and beer fresh from the source. On tap we have more than a dozen beers including our year-round staples, seasonal selections and limited releases. Look for super-limited, small batch brews from our Farmhouse Ales series brewed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewing facility and exclusively available in our pub & restaurant. When the weather warms up, grab a seat at our riverside deck or dip your toes in the water and go with the flow.
