What a lovely gem in Brattleboro for high end dining and delicious food that feels special without being pretentious. The staff is very warm, friendly, and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that most of the menu is or can be made gluten free....More

We enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband and I shared the mixed green salad with root vegetables... excellent. Not sure how anyone could finish it solo. I had the pan seared beef with mash, kind of sick of truffled potatoes, and they were on the cold...More

Beautifully offerings creatively conceived and beautifully presented. We loved the escargot with puff pastry, lamb shank with truffle mashed potatoes and rib eye special. I'll still give 5 stars despite my wish more fat had been trimmed from the rib eye. We'll be back!

A wonderful dinner. From start to finish the food was outstanding and the wait staff very attentive. The small size of the restaurant makes it even more appealing but also means you really should have a reservation made well in advance so as not to...More

Description
Peter Havens provides an elegant but relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy chef/owner Zach Corbin's accomplished cuisine. The menu has French and Italian influences (always house-made pasta and gnocchi!) But always has Zach's own culinary flare. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the intimate setting and often enjoy dining at our bar, where we serve innovative and exciting specialty cocktails. Our wine list is eclectic and ever-changing, with an emphasis on natural wines from France, Italy, and the US. Reservations are recommended.
