The bar area was filled but we found seats by the fireplace on a very cold night in Brattleboro. The staff seemed friendly and happy to be there. I had the 4 flight of all Whetstone beers, although they have many others to choose from. For such a small brewery, the quality was top notch. My friend drinks Manhattans and... More

I was visiting from outside of town for a day. By the time my friends gathering was over, it was late but some of us decided to get a bite to eat before making the trip home. It was my understanding that Whetstone was one of, if not the, only place open late in town, so it was a no... More

Start out with a flight of beer to sample. They are all great. I got the Budda Bowl (it's all veggies), it was AWESOME!!! And I absolutely HATE vegetables... Get a picture of you straddling the state line. The VT/NH border runs right through the place. Look for a yellow line on the floor next to the bar.

Last stop on our beer tour, food was good (try the mac and cheese with beef brisket and the fish and grits!), the beer was tasty, and I got to have Lawson's finest. Really busy for a Saturday at 3pm...

On our way to Bellows Falls, VT, my husband decided to stop in Brattleboro for a quick lunch. I checked TripAdvisor reviews, and we decided to try the Whetstone Station. We were impressed by the lively atmosphere, and quick service, even though there were a lot of customers. One of the thing we liked about the restaurant was its attention... More

Great atmosphere right on the river. I would like to come back when it is warm and sit on the deck. Not a huge selection of beers, but a few good choices. My short rib mac and cheese was filling, but under seasoned and greasy. My friend said his poutine was very good. We both ordered burgers and fries. Very... More

We had a great time tonight at Whetstone Station, our second visit, even though we live an hour away. We were lucky enough to find a great parking spot on a Friday night, and that was just the start of a great evening. First of all, the beer selection is really excellent, both what is on tap and what supplements... More

This brewery sits on the river and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with great views. The beer brewed on site is very good and they have a huge list of guest beers so you are sure to find something you will like. I would rate this place a five if the food was just a little bit better... More

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
