We were in VT this time last year, happened upon this restaurant and loved it! Decided to make the 30 minute trek back from our vacation spot, got a seat outside (again!) and we were so happy we came back. My ribs (meaty and saucy)...More

Whetstone is conveniently located across the street from the Train Station which is why I was in Brattleboro. We had a late lunch inside at a window seat because all of the outside seating was filled and the wait was too long. I have to...More

They have a very nice roof deck with a bar, but despite the large number of tables, there were no waitstaff. The lone bartender was totally overwhelmed trying to serve drinks while trying to take orders from the long line of patrons that wanted food....More

Indoor or outdoor dining along CT River-outdoor was 45 minute wait on a Wednesday evening, so we had the next best thing indoors right next to the window. Service was excellent- we didn't feel rushed at all even though we were done eating, and waitress...More

Chill view of the river from the roof. Quality eats and brews including the awesome Hill Farmstead. Main floor deck has great view too. They know the view sells.

Stopped in last weekend, my wife and I for a quick lunch. We have been here before and have always enjoyed it. It is right on the Connecticut River and the views from the Restaurant and Roof are fantastic on a lazy summer day. We...More

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
