Excellent Indian food

My wife and I often dine at The Flavors of India. The staff is always very friendly. Our favorite dish is the Butter Chicken with a Naan Basket. When I get the craving but don't want to go we will Door Dash and enjoy it at home. When we have friends in town we usually take the here for a meal. The restaurant is small and cozy. The Bollywood movies add to the experience.

Best Indian Food We've Ever Had

We started with garlic naan which was excellent. My son and I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill which was an awesome entree at an awesome price. We asked for extra spicy/hot, and we got it! The rice was perfect. My husband had the Chicken Tikka Masala - also excellent. Service was also outstanding - the waiter kept our waters topped off which was vital given the highly spicy Tandoori. They did a very good job with Covid safe practices - we felt safe dining in. We've eaten Indian food across the country, and we all agreed this was the best!

I had a birthday party and my husband loves their buffet. Of course with Covid there has not been a buffet at their restaurant. So I went in and ordered and brought the buffet to our house. They were timely, food excellent and warm. Everyone loved it. Thank you so much. Your food made our party. Tracy Stephens

Superb food

Superb food, very clean restaurant. Generous portions. My friend and I shared an order of Chicken Tikka Masala and a Naan Basket, and had plenty to eat. The naan came in four flavors, piping hot from the oven, and was absolutely delicious. The Tikka Masala was full of well cooked chicken breast chunks and a yummy sauce that paired well with the naan. The staff was attentive and courteous, and kept our water glasses full.

Have been scared to try Indian food but not anymore... This was a nice surprise and close to my office. Request not hot and spicey and they will deliver. Excellent bread.

Tasty Indian Cuisine at Flavors of India in West Jordan, UT

This place is loaded with culinary delights from India. It's not fancy in its decor and the building is just in front of the AMC Theater. The food is good at this place. It has a large menu of appetizers, Tandoori dishes, Soups and salads, Vegetarian choices, chicken dishes, lamb delights, shrimp and fish choices, Rice and breads, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. This restaurant also does catering. The only common dish missing from this menu is raita (cold, unflavored yogurt with finely cut cucumber, carrots, and Indian spices in it). My husband had Chicken Vindaloo, plain Naan bread and Roti (baked whole wheat bread) and spiced coffee. He was very satisfied with his choices and was pleased that he could have them medium spiced. I had their fabulous Indian Tomato Soup, Vegetable Curry (a mixture of vegetables in a tomato/yogurt sauce), plain Naan bread, and spiced coffee. I too was happy to have my dinner mild. The Naan bread was served with ghee (clarified butter) on it and was delicious. Rice was also served at the table, although I preferred to eat the Naan with my entree. The service was friendly and attentive, although speaking English well is not part of it. This can be excused, because enough fluency in our language allowed us to communicate well enough. Next time, we will point to the dessert on the menu. I asked for a take-out menu and was promptly given one. We would definitely go back to Flavors of India again. Lots of off-street parking is available, including handicapped places. The restaurant was clean and one can choose peppermint candies or sweet fennel masala, if he wants on the way out.

Went there with my wife on a movie night - Excellent Choice!

Very authentic and I have been to India for a month. Friendly people. The Restaurant is located near the AMC Theater in West Jordan. To start with, I looked at the movie theater and the location that is not very flashy, and was even iffy about going to the movies. But then on the way, I mean parking lot area, we noticed this little jewel with all the flavor and smells you can only love about India. Do try the cheese naan, and my favorite which they prepared to perfection: butter chicken. I cook that myself for friends when they come to dine in my house. Trust me. This is a great place to eat with family and friends.

Oh my!

Ok, so, everywhere we go, we seek out Indian restaurants. I have had my favorites such as Mutus curry in Singapore....but wait, this place tops all contenders! The chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, coconut chicken curry, all the four types of naan we ordered were ALL superior. The mango lassi was so so mango-ie and wasnt full of ice as a filler as most places serve it. The place is clean as a pin, has tv with bollywood going and the service is top notch... Do not miss this place when in the SLC area.

Food preparation is very good and tastes close to home food. They serve food with the right spice level, as you ask. Owners are very friendly and it has a nice simple ambience, not too dark as many other restaurants

Our college group recently returned from India and used Flavors of India to cater an event. The food was fantastic! Everything was ready on time and was delivered hot and fresh. Highly recommended!
