Reviewed yesterday NEW

5 of us were visiting the Dino exhibit across the street (marvelous). We decided to try another brew pub in Utah despite the 4% abv limit on drafts statewide.. Opted for a can of 50 Caliber IPA for a full flavored beer... So much for draft/craft brewing. Maybe it was being greeted by a surly waiter (also the manager) that... More

Great place to have dinner and micro brews. Staff so friendly and efficient! Nachos were fab and spicy. Boys loved the ribs.

My husband and I visited the Dinosaur Monument earlier in the day and decided to stop by the brewery to try the beer and have dinner. The beer was good but my husband is the beer expert. The dinner was very good. We split the appetizer of salsa and chips. The chips were good and must be made there. The... More

We stopped in after a half marathon, and we were impressed. The restaurant was beautiful, food was good, and the beer was amazing! We ordered a Cubano sandwich, a Dragon slayer burger, and butter mac. The peach beer and honey beer were perfectly crisp and refreshing. The salsa, chops, and queso were ok. Queso definitely could have used a lot... More

My husband and I visited this brewery because we are beer snobs and always looking for microbrews on tap. We understand all of the Utah beer law hoops regarding low alcohol beer on tap so we kept an open mind. Of course, the IPA that my husband wanted was out of stock (can't get that percentage on tap). I chose... More

Traveling with the husband and daughter through Vernal, and stopped in the Vernal Brewing for lunch. I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese, my husband had the Cubana, and my daughter got the Mac n Cheese. All three plates were very delicious. Service was timely, and we enjoyed our meal on the patio. There was so much food we couldn't finish,... More

A bit pricey for a mediocre beer, but worth stopping in to try the varieties offered. Food was good. Service was fantastic. I did stop back in to try some additional varieties I hadn't tried on my first visit, but the Rigor Mortis Red Ale was the best beer available. I'll be back, but selectively. 4% beer seems awfully low,... More

Definitely a pub and brewery to try if passing by Vernal. Great food (don't miss the VBC burger) and craft beers (their 50 caliber IPA and smoked porter are excellent) on tap and in cans. Staff is kind and professional. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was great. The beer was nothing special, the tomato bisque soup was awesome, but the "special" mac and cheese was so so. Not at all creamy and the candied bacon took away from the cheesy flavor. would probably not go back

Description
Nestled in downtown Vernal, Utah within the heart of Uintah County is a craft beer brewery and gastropub that is an icon of the area. In addition to brewing and canning quality craft beers to be sold in-house and distributed across Uintah County and the Salt Lake Valley, we host a restaurant/gastropub with dining options ranging from comfort food and appetizers to local favorites. Exceptional food, craft beer and a place to enjoy it with friends and family is something that owner, Ginger Bowden, has always gravitated towards. This love fueled Ginger's passion and desire to create a unique experience for the Uintah Basin. Welcome to the Vernal Brewing Company. We're happy to serve you and strive to give you a great dining experience!
