It was very busy so we were hopeful the food would be good but boy were we wrong. We got our drinks fairly quick and ordered food with the promise of a 20-30 minute cook time wait. It turned out to be an hour wait...with tables near us getting their food long before us even though they ordered way after we did. We only saw our waitress 2 times during our time there, and had to beg a different waitress for drink refills. Then we were informed that they had run out of buns for the French dip sandwich we ordered at about 45 minutes into our wait so my husband opted to just have it on toasted bread instead of trying to order something else and wait again. When our food finally came out the toast his sandwich was on was burnt and the fries were dark brown. I ordered the lemon chicken and was also sadly disappointed, it was the tiniest portion of chicken I’ve seen in a restaurant and it was so dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were oddly watery and everything we ate was so bland, we had to salt everything and it was still bland. We ended up eating as much as we could because we were starving but it was horrible. I could understand the crappy service if they were short handed with staff but there were at least 6 waitresses walking around. And their cook needs some help because it seemed like they were the only one cooking and they were not good at their job.More

Adorable little cafe housed in a vintage building along the Main Street of Richfield. Shaykaylee and her coworker (the cook) were so friendly and hospitable when I arrived to pick up my to-go order. Sharing background on the restaurant as well as filling me in...a little bit on the town of Richfield. I had a baked potato and dinner salad. Both were tasty and very fairly priced. I love when I get to connect with the locals during my travels! I wish this cafe all the success, and all my best to the awesome employees I met. They should both get a gold star for excellent customer service!More

My wife picked up 2 cheeseburgers to go was told their fryer was broke so she got coleslaw. The bun was not toasted at all and the bun on my cheeseburger was moldy. When I saw the mold I just threw the whole box in...garbage. This was Thursday may 27 th. Pm. I will not go back thereMore

Me & the Mrs Stopped in for dinner as we were passing through based on reviews we read. It was Sunday evening and the place had just had a dinner rush and many tables were dirty. There was only one server working and she was...doing the best she could and was friendly. She told us to grab a table and she would be by as soon as she could to clear and clean the table and get our order. The main reason I gave this place 2 stars was because of the ambiance and service, otherwise it would have only been a 1. I ordered the chicken fried steak that came with soup or salad (very basic salad dressings - no honey mustard which is my preference) or soup of the day which was split pea (my wife’s favorite) so she ordered a bowl for her meal. We were very disappointed with it as it was very bland and tasted like it had too much water in the stock. My wife couldn’t eat it so she had it taken back and opted not to eat. The chicken fried steak came with a vegetable and choice of potato. I chose the mashed. Again, dismally disappointed. The mashed was either left over country potatoes that were smashed or boiled potatoes that weren’t made wir butter and milk which were very chunky and flavorless. The country gravy was heavy peppered and a stale sausage taste which was terrible. The vegetable was three tomato slices in a dish.!The only decent thing was the chicken fried steak itself which the server said was the last one for the day. Because there were so many issues with flavor and preparation of the food, I doubt that anything else could be any better. I would look at someplace else if you are looking for a good tasting meal. The reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the ambiance and service.More

We wanted to eat at a local place for dinner and found this cafe along Main Street in the charming town of Richfield. I might add that it was our first visit ever. We asked about the special for the day and were told it...was a sirloin dinner. The meat tasted fine, but I had to send it back because it wasn’t cooked quite to my liking. I like my meat fairly well done and there was a lot of red on it. The mashed potatoes were okay, as were the green beans. The staff was friendly. We liked the clocks all over the walls. It’s a worthwhile place to visit.More

My wife and I love checking out local restaurants on our travels. One Saturday around 3PM we chose this restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner after a day of sightseeing along the San Rafael Swell area of I-70. This restaurant has been around, with an...old town feel to it. If you like old clocks, they are all over the restaurant! If you like to eat where the celebeities have eaten, you will see some of their names at some of the tables as well. The food was very good and prices were reasonable. They messed up my fish sandwich order, but they fixed it before bringing it out. Unfortunately, they did not explain this to us as to why the delay in getting our food beforehand. We both had sandwiches and fries which were large and plentiful. Even with the COVID going on, some of the downtown businesses were open which we checked out after our meal.More

Obviously a local spot. Very friendly staff. Good service at lunchtime My burger was so overcooked and dry. I think that it had been precooked and reheated. Coleslaw was ok, nothing to write home about. Hubby had the French dip. Just OK.
