went for re-opening. Food was terrible. Chicken fried steak. It was pre-made patty. Fried potatoes were no more than frozen I can get from grocery store. Eggs were cold. Toast had no butter. Table had no silverware. Or salt and pepper. 20 dollars plus tip..could have tossed it put the window. Poor server girl. Worked her butt off. And to... More

After a day floating the river we had dinner at the cafe, it was great food was good and plentiful the coffee was outstanding and the service was super. Prices were very reasonable, not a huge menu but I think enough selection to suit everyone.

Reminds me of a story told by a friend of mine...... It goes like this: A food server tells the owner/operator of a local restaurant "A guest just called the manager an idiot." When asked why he called the manager an idiot he replied; " I didn't call the manager an idiot, What I did say was, who called that... More

My husband and I had a very nice dinner at Big Rock. Planning to go back and try their breakfast menu. Give them a try when you are in the area. Can't go wrong.

My husband and I were the first customers for breakfast on the first morning the restaurant opened for the season. The staff was very friendly and our food was very good. It looked like it would be a fun place for families during the summer season.

I am just furious! Why would you have a restaurant, camp ground, resort OR whatever you call yourselves when your staff smells so bad your eyes water?! I truly do not know how this place stays operational! Awesome adventures my behind! The worst experience I have ever encountered! I hope they close the doors and make a real business out... More

We have ate here many times and the food is always good. Like many small areas, the service is good, but getting the food out to the table can sometimes take quite a while. So sit down and relax with a cold drink and just enjoy the conversation around the table. We would always recommend this place for any meal,... More

It took a little while but the food was very good and hot. Waitress filled our coffee several times. I asked them to be sure French toast wasn't soggy and it was best Ive had in years.

I have learned my lesson. I will never eat at a restaurant again without looking at the reviews first. We had taken a short detour to see the famous Big Rock Candy Mountain and decided to find a decent place to have lunch. The café looked inviting enough from the outside. We were greeted and seated and right away I... More
