Heading west from Capitol Reed, we got hungry and spotted this cute cafe. It was even cuter inside. Breakfast menus seem to be similar in many places - but this place has something I adored - a "smaller appetites" section. I got a ham and cheese omelet made with ONE egg. Hashbrowns and toast were included so I wasn't walking... More

We were in the area visiting Capitol Reef and found this great little cafe through its reviews. The soup of the day was cream of potato and ham. It was delicious! They also had a lunch special-BLT sandwich with egg and cheese. Also delicious! A great little cafe with great food.

I'm always weary of small diners. I'm very scared they are gross and dirty! This was clean, good food, nice owners would for sure go again!!

Had dinner and breakfast here, in Loa en route to Moab. Waitresses were efficient; food was typical small town diner fare; but the owner made the place special. So courteous and hard-working and caring! She literally cooked and did it all. Be sure to eat here!

Nothing fancy here, but the food is good and the staff is super nice. Chopped steak was yum and the apple pie topped off our meal. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant without much flavor, but everything else hit the spot. There aren't many food choices in Loa.

Great food, great prices. Huge menu and amazing sweet potato fries. They are so friendly and accommodating. If you have food allergies or want to adjust a menu item they will do it! Try the apple pie and hope you pass through Loa again.

Found some decent reviews for this place and it was on our way from Torrey back to Salt Lake City so we decided to stop for breakfast. Our GPS tried to route us around it and we had to double back to get to the right road. We weren't sorry. After a mediocre breakfast in Torrey the day before, this... More

We were visiting Capitol Reef and it's HARD to find a place to eat breakfast anywhere near it. So we looked on Tripadvisor.com and saw good review for this little breakfast spot. We pulled up to park and the place looked a little shady maybe run down on the outside but don't let that scare you off, because when you... More

On a trip to Capital Reef National Park Country Cafe was recommended for breakfast. What a great place! The cafe is intimate with warm paneling with locals shooting the breeze over coffee. The owner warmly welcomed us. My wife had pancakes which were some of the best she ever had. I had the Rio Grande which combines green chilies with... More
