Newly opened, so working a few bugs out, but they served an excellent breakfast quickly and the waiter earned points by asking what he could have done better (answer - nothing, he did a great job)

We had the salad bar. It was OK. Not much you can say about a salad bar in a place like Escalante. The salad makings were pretty fresh and the potato salad was good.

Although Prospertor Retaurant is part of the Prospector Inn, it has been leased to someone to run for the p0ast four years. The food was acceptable, but the service was not. They are now closed.

We stopped here for breakfast. Food was good as was the service. It was perfect since our room was literally a stone's throw away..... and we were hungry.

We had a very tasty meal. Servers were a little overwhelmed but nice people. This is all American food. Nothing fancy but pretty well done.

Went there on Monday 10/ 7. Sign on the door says credit card machine broken. OK. We order biscuits and gravy. Opps, they are out of that. We asked for iced tea, well none of that either. We order breakfast with toast. I ask for jelly, no jelly. My over easy eggs were scrambled, but came out after everyone else... More

The day we were there for breakfast, they were out of ingredients, the server was very nice but not very good at their job. They don't accept plastic. They definitely need to step up their game if they want to stay in business. We had a Denver omelet and bacon & eggs. Ok but nothing special.

Average restaurant with extra friendly staff (when you can find them). Dined there only once but did stay at the Prospector Motel which is adjacent. You must bear in mind the location (somewhat isoated) and the fact that you are not going to find an elegant dining experience in these rural destinations. This restaurant was more than adequate and the... More

If you order a dinner salad don't order a dinner!!!! The salad is delivered on a dinner plate!!!! The service is good the girls there try to make you feel welcome. Prices are what you expect to pay this time of year.
