Reviewed the other two on Bee Cave Road, westlake. So far this is the best. Had lunch special. Skipped the soup- egg roll again mushy vegetarian. But! The shrimp and vegetables was very good with a wide variety of veggies. All very fresh. It is a lovely place, you can tell great care. I have eaten ChineseJapanese 3 times. No-... More

We were in town for the holidays and looked to find some dinner with the family Christmas day. We were informed that Chinatown would be open and doing a dim sum dinner. So we decided to try something different and headed there after church. It was a madhouse! So wildly busy, we ended up waiting almost an hour until we... More

Seated right away, we were pleased that there was no wait for a table. The restaurant is beautiful! Colorful lanterns overhead and wine racks like giant abacuses with wine bottles as the giant counting beads are just part of the striking decor. Our food came in a timely manner and was good. I won't say it was great, but it... More

We visited for lunch and they had a very good selection of Dim Sum. The carts were moving around the room quickly and we got everything we were looking for within a few minutes. I should also point out that they have a very good selection of Sushi, Sashimi, and Rolls along with some nice Asian Fusion dishes.

Wanted to check out the sister restaurant for dim sum, as I visited the original with Sat and Sun dim sum. This place only served on Sundays and sad to say it showed. It's ok, but the variety was lacking. With dim sum, no variety...might as well go to any other chinese restaurant. Ok, not great.

We stopped in for lunch one day with no expectations, and were pleasantly surprised. The decor is lovely, and I especially loved the flower lantern light fixtures. We both ordered the lunch box options - one Box A and one Box B. Lunch boxes included soup, salad, rice, slices from a sushi roll, one piece of sushi, and a lunch... More

I crave Chinese food, but living in Barton Creek I live in a desert when it comes to good food. We have visited Chinatown three times this year and have had wonton and hot-sour soup, egg rolls, fried and steamed dumplings, happy family, Lo mien, Kung pao chicken, tea steamed duck, etc. Also have tried different sushi and rolls. All... More

I have eaten at this Chinatown location on numerous occasions for dinner, but I had never been there for lunch...until yesterday! What a wonderful lunch. I had the General Tso's chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The hot and sour soup was great, and the crispy noodles that we added were spot on. The prices aren't too bad, maybe... More

The food was ok. I had the lunch box special. The best part was the California roll. The Mongolian beef was sweet. Never had this dish sweet before. I am not a fan of sweet meat dishes. Dessert was good. Service was somewhat slow.
