Waited in line 30 minutes to pay for dinner and no one seemed to care. The cashier spent most of that time filling to go orders that were in the process of being prepared. She didn't seem to notice the line of 20 people. Do yourself a favor. Don't go.

After a another disappointing and overpriced Olive Garden dinner, we had to find something local and better. Baris is the answer. Outstanding food, service, and value (less than $20 for 2). Parking is the real challenge. Once parked, you are in for a treet. We tried the Sunday lunch special and it was very tasty and hot. The house dressing... More

This was our first visit to Baris with several family members. As soon as you open the door you can smell the wonderful smells of an Italian kitchen. Something you do not experience at the Olive Garden. We were seated at a large table to accommodate our seven person and one infant party. Our waiter Keith was on the spot... More

Very authentic Italian food. You can tell everything is made from scratch. The salad dressing is delicious and the Italian bread is excellent.

We stopped as we were traveling. Based on reviews, I guess I expected more. The food is rather bland. Pros: inexpensive, great wait staff. Cons: parking is atrocious.

We live in Waco and have driven by here countless times but never stopped in. It's always busy but we had just never stopped in. They were donating a portion of the the evenings proceeds to one of Waco ISDs schools so we decided to give it a try. It was packed and I had to wait to find a... More

Casual, family friendly place serving really good Italian food. The rolls are delicious and huge! Ask for some sauce on the side. We had the Stromboli and the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo - both really good.

Went to Baylor Homecoming, so it was a busy weekend. Sat within 10 minutes. They are fast, the pizza is the best and the service is fast. Price is way below expected. We will eat there on every visit over the next 4 years.

Been coming to Baris for over 10 years, ever since visiting Baylor for the first time, and the food is still as fabulous as it was the first time and Mrs. Mary is still behind the cash register! The long wait is way worth it! BYOB! They will uncork for free! The food was still great and the service wasn't... More
