I was disappointed in the meal I received. I ordered eggs benedict, one of my favorite breakfast foods. The eggs benedict was cold and the biscuit was doughy. When I complained to the server about the cold eggs benedict, she said "Eggs Benedict are served cold." Never in my life have I had cold eggs benedict and I have had a lot of them. Also the server did not say anything when I complained about the doughy biscuit. The server did not apologize or offer to comp part of the meal. We told the server on the way out and she apologized but by then I was too upset to really care. My sister's breakfast potatoes were cold, also. But everyone else's meal was good.

We came to Waco specifically to visit Magnolia Silo’s. At appeared during the week, all dining venues close by 3pm. We decided to dine here on the fly and utilized the waitlist option online to reduce our wait time. We waited in the covered patio area, but there was a very unpleasant odor out there. Fortunately our wait was minimal. We were seated at a bar style area. The service was extremely slow, so if you are on a time constraint please keep this in mind. The meals are very large so we requested to-go boxes. The chicken tenders are somewhat spicy, but very tasty with the “hot honey” and the pattie melt w/fries was delicious. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is not included when you stay at the 1928 hotel, so we decided to finish our "Magnolia experience" at the Table where we knew my celiac spouse could get a decent meal. We weren't disappointed as the food was quite tasty and very satisfying. Reservations are recommended.

Very disappointed, We traveled from Tennessee to see what Magnolia was all about, watched on TV all the time. We tried to make a reservation for a party of 10 but they would not accept reservations for over 6 people. When we arrived we were quoted a 2 hour wait , we waited cause we were told the biscuits and cinnamon rolls were worth the wait. We waited 2 hours and got our table. Had to track down a server after about 10 minutes of zero recognition. Server gave us water took our drink order brought back our drinks, and started to take our order.Asked us if we wanted to order some pastries for the table, we ordered cinnamon rolls for the table only to find out they were out! None! Started to take our order only to find out they were out of biscuits, none , about 1/2 their menu has biscuits on it, mm?? Would have been helpful to know when we sat down and after waiting 2 hours! The server was very matter of fact an unapologetic. Not a good experience at all,

One hour and 40 minutes initial wait time which we were ok with but it turned out to be over 2 hours. We were a party of 6 and they just did not manage their table accordingly to be able to accommodate our party. Our server was excellent, courteous and very friendly therefore I can't blame our bad experience on her (we tipped her 20-25% regardless as she well deserved). The food was subpar to average at best), You can most certainly have a better breakfast in many other places without having to wait forever. We felt that the excessively long time to wait for a table was not for the popularity but the slow service provided. On a separate note, our food came out late and one of the orders was wrong which they took off the check and also offered a free chocolate croissant but at that point we were already disappointed and tired. We want to offer a huge thanks to the people who did their best to serve us but in general the experience was not what we hoped for. Our recommendation is not for people to avoid this place as this restaurant seems to be an iconic establishment in this city but do not set your expectations very high. Server 10/10 food 6/10 service in general 4/10.

As HGTV fans, we had to visit Magnolia Table. Now all nine of us can all say "Been there, Done that!" and we don't intend on returning even though we live within driving distance. It is all hype and below average food. Four of us ordered burgers-none of us thought the meat had any flavor so we relied heavily on condiments. Two ordered French toast which was dry-thank goodness for the syrup. The other three ordered tacos or salads which they rated OK. We were taken to a very large square table which wasn't very conducive for conversation, but as loud as the place is, we all decided we couldn't hear each other anyway. The noise made the room reverberate and some of us left with headaches. Staff was cordial but way to busy to pay any attention; however, the young lady outside taking names was very professional and pleasant which made for a nice welcome. Go in a small car because the parking lot is crammed. Reservations are a must; we noted several groups arrive and be turned away. Luckily, there is a Rudy's right next door with great TX barbecue.

$20 biscuits and gravy! I was traveling north from San Antonio and thought I'd stop in at Magnolia table as it was right off the freeway. I ordered biscuits and gravy which came with a small cup of gravy and a very small metal Skillet with three biscuits kind of packed in. By the time I finished one of the biscuits I needed more gravy and they charged me an extra $3 50 for that without telling me up front. The biscuits were okay but the gravy was pretty salty. Just the feeling of paying $20 to the waitress in order to give her a tip for biscuits and gravy blew me away I don't think I'll ever come back! Sorry chip and Joanne

I was made to wait at the front door for over ten minutes even though there were empty tables, perhaps because I was alone. I was eventually shown to single table. When my brunch, Farm Eggs Benedict, arrived it was as though it was an afterthought, carried by the waitress along with a number of beautiful dishes for the table next to me. She literally tossed my brunch down with no comment on her way to the other table. The eggs were overcooked, the biscuit was hard, the sauce was sour and cold. The whole thing looked quite unappealing as well as unattractive. There was no presentation, not a garnish, nothing. Just a biscuit with two eggs plopped on a tiny salad sized plate and covered with a white sauce. The whole thing looked and tasted boring. I was planning to take a photo for my family, but I was so disappointed that I did not. I wish I had so I could include it here. I asked for butter…it was held and delivered by the waitress’s little finger (seriously) again on her way to another table with a load of drinks, almost as an afterthought. I am so disappointed and I truly wish I had not gone. I truly felt as though I was an imposition, like I was almost invisible. I felt diminished, like I was in the way! No one was kind or made me feel welcome.

First off they took out call in orders. when you’re traveling from Austin to Dallas, it’s very convenient to stop in there and get a to go breakfast. It’s been my go to stop for the last three years now they’ve changed the hours to 8 AM. This is very inconvenient and I’m very upset that these hours were changed. OpenTable was initiated because it is hard to drive and order online versus calling I probably will not ever stop in there again. since I always travel through there at 7 AM so sad someone really needs to look at this matter. Whoever made this ridiculous decision decision is costing you money.

Sept 2023 friends
I've loved Chip and Joanna from Fixer Upper for years and have long wanted to go to their restaurant in Waco. Today I did just that, all the way from Australia, accompanied by my Texan friend. The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, down to the last little detail - you can see so much thought has gone into it. We ordered Joanna's famous biscuits and they did not disappoint, nor did any of the other food we ate. Our server Rose was attentive and extremely efficient, she took our order within a minute or two of us sitting down and everything arrived very quickly indeed. The atmosphere of Magnolia Table is wonderful and relaxing - there are even leather pouches at each table designed for diners to place their cell phones into, to encourage them to interact with each other, just like in the gool old days. There's a water station outside in a shaded area, should you have to wait for your table. There's a to-go section where you can order anything that's on the menu to go. This is in the gift shop which has a great choice of merchandise. The decor inside is just so 'Joanna'. Later we drove over to the Silos to Magnolia Market and were equally impressed. I figured out it's 8807 miles from where I live to Waco and it was worth every single yard. I can't recommend all things Magnolia in Waco highly enough.

It's great novelty to eat here. It's not a good value. I rate the staff 4 out 5. Food quality is 5/5, Value is 2 out 5 - a tad pricey for what you get. Decor is hit out of the park, solid 5 out of 5. It is a loud noisy environment. No, the '60s and Sammy

This place just knocked my socks off. We stuck with shareable plates such as the biscuits and strawberry butter, a Cobb salad, deviled eggs with candied bacon and one cinnamon roll. It was MORE than enough for 3 people. Service was excellent and the nicest part was that any server was happy to meet your needs. What a gracious way to train your staff! This is truly the best of Texas

The Table has a great atmosphere, both inside and out. The food is good, and the waitstaff was prompt and polite. I suggest making a reservation about a week in advance if you are able. If you cannot get a reservation, I recommend going early, as you will have a decent wait. At 10:30 AM, the wait was over 45 minutes. Parking is free and there is a small gift shop attached to the restaurant. The Table restaurant is about a 15 minute drive away from the Silos. If you cannot make it to the Table but can make it to the Silos, there is a small concession stand on the Silo property that offers up a small selection of Table menu items. The restaurant is on the pricey side (for brunch/lunch) in my opinion, but it was still a fun and enjoyable meal

Wait was shorter than anticipated and well worth it! Started with the corn flake coated french toast for the table and then we all customized our Farmer's Breakfasts. Everyone's came out as they wanted and were yummy! Coffee drinks were good too. There's a cute gift shop (while you wait) on the side where the takeout orders get picked up.

Great gluten free options. They don't have a gluten free menu. Also, the menu does not mark options as gluten free. However, the waiter knew which options were gluten free and was well aware of gluten allergies. The food was delicious and the service was good.
