This was my first visit to Gringo's. I ordered the Burrito Con Queso combo with rice, charro beans, and sweet tea. The burrito was large, filled with steak & chicken, and covered with creamy queso - delicious. The rice was moist and tasty. The charro...beans were seasoned just right and very good. The sweet tea was just about perfect. The service was fast & friendly. They have indoor & outdoor seating and a bar. The prices are reasonable. They have free soft-serve ice cream for after your meal with the choice of vanilla or chocolate. The ice cream was very good too.More

Great food and service, but not enough parking. Very busy on a Saturday night. Our server had another party of 40 and still took time to top off drinks and clear extra dishes.

Austin, a personable, articulate, and pleasant employee for El Gringo's restaurant, epitomized excellence. Immediately after I sat down, he glided over to my table. He demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the menu. His warm and courteous demeanor and his superb skill as an outstanding waiter...made my dining experience pure Utopia. Indeed, El Gringo is most fortunate to have such a diligent, skilled, and talented employee.More

We arrived during a very busy time and were greeted warmly. Our server came and took our deink order. Asked us if we wanted lemon with our tea and we said yes. Then it went downhill. Server said he would bring lemon, more chips and...salsa. They were a LONG time coming and lime came instead of lemon. We asked for sliverware. Never arrived. First kicker. Two other servers brought our food. We asked again for sliverware. We were assured ( in a patronizing way) that silverware would come. Nope. I had to go to the bar and ask for some. Second kicker. Our server told us he was off shift and would be leaving. He introduced us to a new server. Did he leave? Nope. Saw him long after when we were leaving. Foid was wo derful and all the other employees were super.More

Six of us had an early dinner cat Gringo’s before a music show at Cypress Creek FACE just down from the restaurant. They don’t take reservations but you can call the day of and request a table at a designated and they will try and...get you seated at that time. They absolutely did. The service was excellent. We all had different drinks and dishes, but all came out in a timely manner. We had not been here in quite a while as the food and services seemed to be off since the pandemic. Since it was so close to our show we decided to try again. Their chips are much better than before, more crispy and lighter. The seafood enchiladas were spot on with lots of seafood. The beef fajita nachos were very good as was the beef taco salad. One person had a shrimp dish with bacon wrapped shrimp and jalapeños served with tortillas that looked amazing. We were all happy with our experience and will surely be back.More

Excellent tex mex! We loved "the Rodriguez" meal with an enchilada, taquito, nachos, rice, and beans. The queso was great. You can get a free ice cream cone when you leave.

in a city literally nasty with Tex Mex joints you have to do something exceptional to stand out...Gringo's does not do that. Also, they don't suck at anything. Gringo's is decent TexMex at reasonable prices. No, it isn't the best, but it isn't bad....dang, I...could go for those flautas about nowMore

"DATE NIGHT OUT WITH MY LOVELY WIFE" Friday Night was Date Night with my Lovely Wife - and the Vette-Jet - both are ready so we went to Gringos (Champions). Since it is Friday Night we know they are going to be busy so we...arrived around 5:15pm and actually found a parking place pretty close to the main entrance - and the parking lot is full all the way up to Hasta la Pasta and beyond. We were greeted and we there were a few tables left for us to choose from. Our Server is Aaron and he took our drink order - Some Cool Tall Beers for us with a glass of ice for my Wife (she likes to pour her Beer over ice, it keeps it Cool and last longer - that's what she says). Their Fresh Chips and Sauces, Thick Green & Spicy Red, were placed on the table . We both Love these - some of the Best around and you can eat a whole basket of those Chips real easy - and I know I did - and their Sauces are Awesome. Gringos is busy and it takes a few minutes to get our Beers - but we have those Chips. Soon our Beers arrived and we toasted - Tall Beers are Cool because you get more in them than a Short Beer. After awhile we looked over the menu and my Wife decided on the "Taco Salad"; Tortilla Bowl. I am also having a Salad, their "Cabo Salad"; Tex-Mex Cobb Salad, Fajita Chicken, BACON, Diced Avocado, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Chopped Eggs & Grated Cheeses. We both asked for their 'Amazon Dressing' for our Salads. While we waited for our Salads we enjoyed our Cool Beers and more of those Tastylicious Chips with the Sauces. Gringos is now Packed with people waiting to be seated - glad we arrived when we did - and as busy as they are our Food arrived pretty fast. My Wife's Taco Salad Tortilla Bowl is filled up to the top and it looks really good, especially when she poured on the Amazon Dressing. My Cabo Salad is in a Big Bowl and there is a lot there all neatly presented in rows of Colorful Deliciousness - and it is Very Delicious, especially with the Amazon Dressing (that's some really good stuff). My Fajita Chicken is Tender & Tasty with just the right amount of seasoning with Crispy-Crunchy-BACON - and not overcooked - Just Right for that BACONCrunch. Both these Salads are a pretty good size and my Wife didn't finish hers and took some home. I, on the other hand, finished all of mine. Everything in these Salads were Fresh and Very Good and Loving that Amazon Dressing. It's always good to go out to eat Once-In-A-While and Once-In-A-While for us seems to be just about every other day - and that's okay with us - it supports local. Aaron earned the Dollar-Bow-Tie Award and a nice tip for always checking on us at just the right time - and Gringos was Really Busy. When we left there was hardly any standing room in the place with all tables filled and more people waiting outside. Check'em out on Facebook - Gringo's Champions - and On-Line - and enjoy some Chips & Sauces along with some Good Food. My Lovely Wife and I enjoyed our Date-Night Out on another Beautiful Kind-of-Cool Texas Evening. Love You Baby, Bunches & GringosMunches.More

We have been to many different locations of Gringo's and this one has excelled. Despite being crazy busy on a Tuesday night, the service was exemplary and the food was good. It was obvious that the restaurant was understaffed but despite this, our server was...attentive and on the ball.More

We love the bar staff and find service much more personal and less stiff. Great margs, fajita meat (in anything), queso, bacon wrapped shrimp, chicken enchiladas, and terrific nachos. Overpriced, but we love it anyway, Did i mention the shrimp empenadas? An item above all...others...its what makes America great...an instant cure for a bad day...a divorce-causer (what, you ate the last one?)...world’s best peace offering...mmm.More
