Foods looks great and they had a wide variety of beers and alcoholic beverages. The bartender was friendly and answered questions about the island.

Beer sampler was a nice option. But house margarita was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. A “real” one, no sweet & sour mix at this place. Food was good. Hubby got a burger and I got a light panini, both were good....More

This is by far one of the worst restaurants we’ve even been to. We ordered hamburgers they were way over cooked and dry yuck! The ketchup was water down is was disgusting! Even our drinks were not good. This was a Birthday dinner no Happy...More

My only reason for writing is to warn you not to order the "kale chips." They were gross and disgusting and need to be taken off the menu immediately. They were so slight and paper-thin that they reminded me of tissue paper. Come to think...More

The food looked amazing but we had dinner plans we sampled their brews and found all pretty good! Our server was nice and well worth the quick stop!

Kind of small place but they still had a good variety to select from on the menu. The service seemed slightly distracted even though there were not a lot of people there. We did order a flight of beer and that was nice. We both...More

We've been enjoying Padre Island Brewing Company since it opened (and have the t-shirts to prove it!). Our choice for the best shrimp baskets on the island and terrific beers brewed right there. It can be very noisy, but otherwise we love it.

Had a pretty nice meal, asked for a side of pasta salad, I think our waiter must not have understood as I was given potato side, still was ok overall.

We have fond memories of our last trip to Padre which include this brewpub. Sadly, the memories were better than the reality. The calamari was mostly over cooked, the beer was marginal. We give it 3 stars for the very decent pizza. We hate to...More

Hi Pat, Unfortunately we are prevented by the current health ordinances to allow dogs with the exception of service animals, I'm sorry.

We took our baby granddaughter there with our family, however, I do not recommend going upstairs when you do that. It smells heavily of cigarette smoke........ we made them find us a table downstairs.

Description
"The gastropub movement is well-represented on South Padre Island at Padre Island Brewing Company. Rotating draft selections include several styles of handcrafted suds; Texas Long Board Lager, Tailing Red Amber, and Speckled Trout Stout are among my favorites, when available. If you can’t make up your mind, get the “Sampler Tray,” a tasting of all five beers currently on tap. The menu is extensive—“peel and eat” shrimp, spicy wings, and fried calamari are popular appetizers, as are the chips-and-guacamole combo, ceviche, and nachos. The bar has won an award for its pizza, but I recommend the burgers. If you’re really hungry, order the Texas Burger, a double-patty, one-pound monster topped with jalapenos, mushrooms, and cheese. From the seafood menu, beer-battered shrimp is an obvious choice, and the tuna and flounder are also excellent." From Texas Highways Magazine, June 2015
