You can get whatever you want here. The Brewing Co is known for its baby back ribs and pizza. Lots of people come here for seafood too. Don't miss the handcrafted beers. They are seasonal and all very good.

Went twice. Beers were great. Service started out great, then server disappeared. Waited 20 minutes for two beers. It was not busy. Thursday night. Fish was ok. Ribs really disappointed with the vinegar sauce. Yuck. Veey tendr though. Love the cole slaw and garlic mashed.

Eat where the locals eat. I’ve been going here over 20 yrs anytime I’m on the Island. Whatever you choose on the menu you’ll love and don’t forget the beer some for now and take some for later.

This is a pub environment. Not a place for a quiet dinner, but the food was very good and the service outstanding. Our server, Erika, made us feel welcome and took a few minutes to explain the happy hour specials which are quite a bargain....More

The beer was OK in comparison to the many excellent Texas breweries. The food was average, like wet salad. The service was good, and the decor was average.

Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. We had a calamari appetizer. It was tasty but there wasa layer of grease on the bottom of the plate. Two people had the fish & chips. This was not greasy and was quite good. They even had malt...More

We visited on a cold New Years Day to have a warm place to eat. Quite a few families were downstairs. A lot of variety I the menu. Tilapia trifecta was very good and so are the spicy bacon wrapped shrimp. Salads were very fresh....More

I was here recently with my big family (table for 16) and enjoyed some bacon wrapped tacos, a beef wrap, which was the best plate I tried, a shrimp po-boy and some nachos. The food and beer was ok, but the service was so good...More

Foods looks great and they had a wide variety of beers and alcoholic beverages. The bartender was friendly and answered questions about the island.

We took our baby granddaughter there with our family, however, I do not recommend going upstairs when you do that. It smells heavily of cigarette smoke........ we made them find us a table downstairs.

"The gastropub movement is well-represented on South Padre Island at Padre Island Brewing Company. Rotating draft selections include several styles of handcrafted suds; Texas Long Board Lager, Tailing Red Amber, and Speckled Trout Stout are among my favorites, when available. If you can’t make up your mind, get the “Sampler Tray,” a tasting of all five beers currently on tap. The menu is extensive—“peel and eat” shrimp, spicy wings, and fried calamari are popular appetizers, as are the chips-and-guacamole combo, ceviche, and nachos. The bar has won an award for its pizza, but I recommend the burgers. If you’re really hungry, order the Texas Burger, a double-patty, one-pound monster topped with jalapenos, mushrooms, and cheese. From the seafood menu, beer-battered shrimp is an obvious choice, and the tuna and flounder are also excellent." From Texas Highways Magazine, June 2015
