My husband enjoyed huge breakfast burrito with sausage, egg, potatoes, cheese. I had lunch with a Mexican plate of chicken taco & chicken enchiladas. The sides of rice & beans were delicious with homage chips, salsa, & totillas. Family friendly service.

It's rare that I rate a restaurant as "Excellent" but Manuel's definitely deserves this rating. The food is pure South Texas, Tex-Mex, home made, simply good. On a Sunday morning the best time is between all the local church services! A 15 to 30 minute wait is normal, so bring some diversion. Put your name on the list and make... More

THE BEST breakfast ever! Nice, family atmosphere. The food is amazing. My in-laws visit this place a few times a year, and the staff always remember them. The food was so good and the servings are immense!

We stopped with my folks and children for lunch on the way to the island. Great Mexican food and huge portion sizes. We especially like their salsa.

Visited a local hole in the wall with my family while on spring break. Although not on South Padre Island, it was only 8 minutes from our beach front hotel - just over the causeway. Less than 20 tables in the place but just a 15 minute wait. We all had their huge flour tortilla filled with different fixings. My... More

The tacos are amazing. And when he says they are huge, they're huge! They're big enough to share! It was definitely worth the price. It was cheap

Great food and service. From the outside...had no idea it would be so good on the inside. This is a proud, family run business. They go out of their way to ensure a different, dining experience! We enjoyed it!

It is only open for breakfast and lunch. Also, they do not take credit cards. The food however is excellent and the prices are good. Try one of their plate size breakfast burritos.

We visit Port Isabel once a year and I try to start every morning of my vacation here for breakfast. I usually get the Migas but did make the mistake of ordering the steak and eggs once - I won't do that again. Their salsa is awesome so make sure you buy a pint to go. Their giant tortillas make...
