So sad that Guy and Linda have decided to close the amazing Liberty Hall. Will never have whole grilled flounder like they prepared ever again. There is a sign outside of the building saying that it is time for someone else to take over the...historic building. Let’s hope it does not get torn down.More

Now that we are in the ”to go” mode.. I love that they have a “car hop” that will take your order in the parking lot will and bring you a “to go” cup of covered wine to enjoy while you wait for the meal...“to go.” I loved the oriental amberjack with rice and asparagus. Everything was incredible. Enjoy and tip well!More

My husband ordered the seafood gumbo appetizer, and it was delicious. More like a meal than an appetizer. The fried oysters with asperagus and mashed potatoes were very good as well as the Red Snapper grilled in lemon butter. Dessert was really yummy. Cheese cake...with strawberries, topped with caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream. There was a very good wine list by the glass and bottle, several types of bottled beers and excellent, friendly service. The atmosphere with music playing in the background really added to the dinner environment. Well worth the price.More

While they have a good menu, most of the offerings are over $35/plate. I had the grilled swordfish with paella and it was very good. My wife had the steak which they butterflied and it was small with a minor serving of mashed potatoes and...asparagus. Service was great. Offerings are inconsistent for what you pay and should reflect the quality of other fine dining establishments in other cities.More

My first time to Liberty Hall was this past weekend! It was absolutely incredible! For an appetizer we had the crab beignet and out main dishes where the sword fish and the parmesan crusted red snapper. I've had lots of snapper in my life and...that might have been the best snapper of my life! All the flavors work so beautifully together! From the bite of sword fish my husband let me have it was incredible as well! One thing to note is that you need to order your appetizer along with your meal together so that the cook can time everything perfectly. We normally wait until our appetizer comes out to order our main mean dish but this was beautifully timed. We maybe waited 2-3 minutes and then our main dish came out. I would suggest getting there right when they open because when we left there was a long wait. They have a very small staff and I loved how efficiently they all worked. They used plastic glasses and appetizer plates to make it easier on them. The flow and efficiency was planned perfectly. This place is must go to!!More

Although the restaurant is trying to be a fine dining establishment by the prices they mis on the finer details. I’m only being critical because the prices you pay compare to the finest restaurants in big cities. Lighting in the restaurant is inconsistent and food...portions are small. On a busy weekend you are unable to get a seat in some other restaurants while this restaurant has open seating. Reset your prices for what you offer and we will come back.More

Liberty Hall never fails to impress us with the diversity of their entrees. My guest dined on a delicious grilled bone-in pork chop. The chop was was prepared perfectly and topped with a savory home made sauce. I chose the Mediterranean red fish in a...clam sauce wilt salty olives. It was superb. Nice, quiet and casual atmosphere allows a couple a getaway to avoid the beach crowd for a bit. Beer and wine are available as well and the service is always good. The chef is somewhat quirky but talented and always welcomes his guests with a smile. A very enjoyable evening.More

Any meal I have ever had at Liberty Hall was incredible. They have excellent food and excellent service. I believe the owners of Pelican`s Landing that lost their restaurant in Hurricane Harvey are the same owners.

This place used to be our favorite but unfortunately their negative attitude and the way they dictate which table you MUST sit at, droves us away forever. We went at Roosevelt next door to spend $300 and it was amazing!!!

One of the best restaurants in Port Aransas. Out of all the excellent dining options in Port Aransas, this is my favorite. The service is friendly and always makes you feel welcome. The food is always excellent and their specials are always top self. Plan...to spend $30-$40.00 per person, but well worth it. Great place to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant.More
