Seriously, all I can say is YUM! But I'm required to put at least 100 characters. :) The people are extremely friendly and the food is amazing! If you're in town, don't miss this one.

This is a lovely dining spot in a tiny historic home. The baked brie appetizer was one of the best I have ever eaten; superb bread, unique jam, really high quality Black Forest ham. This, shared, with a salad would have made a lovely supper....More

I have tried to get Trip Advisor to remove this review because I had the name of the restaurant wrong. It was supposed to be the Friesenhaus Restaurant, not the Alpine Haus. PLEASE remove this review!!! I sincerely apologize to the owners of the Alpine Haus Restaurant.
