While traveling through New Braunfels, TX, my family and I stopped one day at Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que for lunch. As soon as we entered, we were greeted at the BBQ pit, where they had a large selection of different types of meats. This...More

We are new to the traditions of Texas BBQ so really had no idea what to expect. Seems BBQ is a complete no frills eating experience. You walk in see a sign that says the price per pound of the different types of BBQ meat...More

Sausage was good just don’t think that it was cooked throughout, Mac and cheese was very good and the beans were ok. Very nice family style atmosphere but don’t expect waiters to wait on you hand and foot

We routinely dine at Cooper’s and have become very fond of their chicken halves. They are perfectly prepared with extra pepper on the skin. The chicken is moist, tender, and flavorful. The coleslaw, potato salad, and other side dishes are also excellent! Once seated in...More

Some of the best bbq I have ever enjoyed. Unique method of choosing your meat fresh off the grill and then sides

The food was very tasty, but lacked that good smoke I enjoy. I had the beef ribs, which were seasoned well. Fell short on the Smokey flavor I am accustomed to having in Texas!

Just overwhelmed by the real Texas BBQ experience. Brisket, pork, turkey, you name it plus free beans. Huge communal tables with rolls of paper towels.
