Service was wonderful. Food is awesome. Go for the Key Lime Pie, it's made in house, not the frozen stuff. The Fried Pickles are the best. Haven't ordered the Onion Rings yet, but everyone raves about them. Fried Shrimp - perfect. Chicken Fried Chicken - none left on the plate. Red Fish - also another clean plate. You can't go... More

Great service, server was very polite Great food, my wife ordered a meal and it was too spicy for her acid reflux and they never hesitated a bit to remove it and offer her something else. Portions were above the norm and the bread was excellent as well Very clean restaurant

My wife and I stopped here while traveling through. We wanted a seafood spot since it was a Friday during Lent. This place has a great atmosphere. It was extremely busy but the service was outstanding and we didn't wait long for anything. The food was great and the portions were huge.

Went on a Wednesday night during Spring Break. I guess they didn't expect every local in town to show up - as they were not staffed to handle the load. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer but they did not show up at all. The waitress was working way too many tables. Our main courses arrived and everyone at... More

We ate here while on a little weekend getaway to Nacogdoches. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and I had the famous fried cat fish and onion rings. Both meals were great with great service!

The onion rings are a must!! Gumbo is delicious, also try the skinny grilled chicken with the green beans. Yummy. Their rice is a great side, they will let you substitute it for the French fries.

Not the best onion rings in Texas, the world and known universe - this is definitely misleading advertising on the face of their menu. Very thin homemade ranch dressing served with the bland battered onion rings. Need a dipping sauce with some kick to it to even get close to their claim. Domestic and specialty beer and wines are available.... More

Love the catfish. I have been to clear springs in new braunsfels and now nacogdoches! The food was pretty consistent. Catfish was good. The server took forever. I think the entire place had 2 waitresses working and everything was slow. We waited forever. The hush puppies were off. The didn't taste good at all. The place looks so old and... More

We came here for dinner with family while we were visiting from out of town recently. awe had a large group and service was really good. The food was tasty. I had the chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Not the best fried steak but it was very good. I would definitely eat here again in... More
