They have a prime spot with very little competition and the service reflects it unfortunately. Having said that, the coffee was nice and the icecream parlour (almost) made up for it. We never ventured there in the evening although it was busy as we could find friendlier places for our Euro elsewhere. A shame really as the views are to... More

Situated on the promenade looking out upon Playa de Las Burras, this is a good place to stop for a drink after walking along the promenade. In the past when we have visited here the service has always been quite good, however on this occasion we had to wait quite a long time before any of the waiting staff bothered... More

Had a lovely lunch here on a beach day. Perfect for the family with choices for everyone. It may not be fancy but the staff are lovely, one man in particular made a real fuss of our son, and it was welcoming. The views are perfect with clean facilities. Lovely ice cream parlour attached too. All in all a lovely... More

I don't think I ever rated any place this low before. Why did I not check reviews before visiting El Capitan, is beyond me. Too much sun perhaps. Anyway: it is more expensive than other restaurants in town. Surely due to a nice ocean view but also because they charge 3 euro more for a fresh fish and seafood (!),... More

We called in on our first day when we didn't have a car or know our way around. We didn't go back ... there are much nicer places to eat on the island. I had half chicken - it was deep fat fried. My husband had fish - it was swimming in oil. Not over-priced but average is the best... More

Right on the sea front in San Agustin so great view. Service speedy but only had a quick lunch. Had the Prawns in Garlic Oil, not bad.

Friendly restaurant with large menu- good accurate pictures in menu! Right on beach - couldn't finish food as portions large. Excellently good meat and I suspect equally well treated.

We fancied a drive away from Maspalomas and came across this place on San Augustin beach. Dont be put off by faded pictures of dishes on the menu(one of pet dislikes), the food here is of good quality and quantity. Our only dislike was smokers and non-smokers are not divided so sadly we got smoke drifting across our table as... More

Traditional Spanish restaurant with large menu. The day's catch of sea bass fillet was delicious. My husband had the grouper and our daughters chose the fish platter and the fillet steak. All great good. Desserts were equally good. Friendly, attentive staff. Prestine linen table cloth and napkins (not paper serviettes!) reasonably priced. Would recommend.
