Revisited and looked forward to lunch in a great location. Unfortunately it was really disappointing. Food very bland. We had the burgers which were a grey colour and quite tasteless. We hoped that dessert would be better but. ......No! We were showed the desserts on a plate and they has clearly been on the plate for way too long and... More

During the day, The Beach House overlooks Achilles Bay, and sheltered bay for sunbathing and swimming. During the summer there is a beach bar. Lunch and dinner are served but the real bonus is spectacular sunsets. And Ross is a great bartender!

While staying at the St. Georges Club, we ate several times at The Beach House restaurant. Our food was always very good, the service was excellent, and the view from this spot is lovely. Recommended!

Everyone was attentive, but you could not see the sunset from your table. The Red Hind fresh fish was excellent; Fish chowder was good too. One thing it is lacking is lighting when you are leaving the restaurant in the dark. We needed to use the flashlight on our phone to walk down the steps to the parking lot; step... More

I ate lunch here with friends and enjoyed the pretty blue and white beachy decore. The service was good, and the place was quiet on a Monday noon, but I felt it was pricey. I had spinach ravioli for $23. No salad, no bread, just ravioli.

A little out of the way and hard to find. But worth the hike from town. Lovely spot for lunch on a sunny day. Enjoyed the onion tart with a cold glass of white wine. Courtesy shuttle back to town was appreciated as well.

We stopped for lunch at the Beach House after hiking a loop from St. George's to Alexandra Battery to Fort St. Catherine. What a gem! I had the shrimp salad roll with fries which was delicious. If you're looking for a drink, and something different than a swizzle, try the Yellow Bird. The restaurant overlooks Achille's Bay and the views... More

This restaurant has a beautiful view, from its patio, of the North Shore in Bermuda. It is a wonderful place to watch the sunset. It is not a place if you are in a hurry, instead it is somewhere to relax and take in the ocean breeze and enjoy good company and a good drink.

Food, service, price top notch. I especially enjoyed the fish dishes, having at least a starter or main of fish each time we went. It is in a beautiful location too, with two beaches within a stone's throw. One under the restaurant has a brilliant beach bar, with a lovely barmaid who made us some great dark and stormys and... The views from here are fantastic, best on the island. The food is solid--I have been coming here for several years, and I will say it has taken a more casual turn, which is ok, but I enjoyed last year's menu options more. Get the truffle fries. I went yesterday, and they did have their liquor license. Prices--is the same... More

Description
A secluded cove on the islands of Bermuda is reportedly where one Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, spent some time hiding out from the Governor Eden of North Carolina around 1718. His ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge may have even anchored off Achilles’ Bay; the crew may have basked on the beach and fished and swam in crystal clear turquoise water. They may also have created a small hut on the shore to shelter from the sun but what stands there today has transformed into the Beach House at Blackbeard's. Chef/Manager Piero will ensure you have some of the best food on the island with wine to match in his chic newly rennovated restaurant and the view of the sunset is special.
