Spent a week on Colonsay and visited the Pantry at least once a day.-the soups were delicious and the fish fresh and tasty.,the owner was delightful and enjoyed talking to her. Also loved sitting outside and taking in the view.. Purchased honey to take home-should have purchased more as it disappeared all too rapidly..Beer too was excellent....highly recommendable

Called here to get some items for a picnic while on a cycle tour of the island. Owner happy to make up sandwiches to order with local produce. Home baking delicious too. Licensed to sell local beers which are worth a taste.

The Pantry is the only place on the island that could cater for all of our dietary requirements (gluten free/vegetarian/vegan). The homemade soups are amazing, lovely home baking and great coffee! The friendly owner and lovely lady who run the place made us feel very welcome and our requests were no problem for them to deal with. I would highly... More

We hired Gavin from the Pantry to organise a BBQ on Machrins beach the day after our wedding. It probably helped that it was a beutiful Sunny day on an amazing beach but Gavin and the other people from the Pantry made it really special. The food was excellent and they even came round to make sure our drinks (wine... More

Having cycled around the island we needed food and drink. Lovely friendly little cafe. Sheep wandering outside. Lots of local stuff like the Colonsay Brewery beer. All good tasty food -haggis melt baked potato. Jolly good coffee. Coming back for the seafood evening.

Friendly service and walking distance to the ferry. Quite s big selection of food from snacks to full meals and licenced. We just had Mr Whippy ice cream, which can go surprisingly wrong but this was perfect, ice cream of perfect consistency, fresh flake ( very rare!) and crispy cone. Lovely tea and coffee too. We were there on a... More

While visiting Colonsay with our family we visited The Pantry twice. The first time was for Coffee and Cakes which were delicious. My grandson loves the homemade Tiffin. Before catching the boat back to Oban on Sunday evening we all enjoyed the Sunday Roasts. I had the roast pork and roast vegetables which was very well cooked and presented. A... More
