The food was OK. Obviously a local favorite for Lubbock. I figure the area folks that don't want to drive and stay in the West Side. Or, the owners go to church with many of the patrons. The food is right about average, with prices...More

Steak was delicious however it was served with asparagus (3 spears) and potatoes. When I asked to substitute a green vegetable for the potatoes I was told yes for an additional $3 charge. Even asparagus? Yes. Imagine...if I had paid an additional $3 I could...More

I had a rare filet that was medium rare, a martini that had no vermouth. I said nothing, an unusual occurrence when things are not quite right.

The food was great and everything tasted very fresh. The service was very good and friendly. They also have a large wine menu that includes local wines.

If you have a large group then I would advise calling and making a reservation. If not, you should be fine.

Not sure if you're still planning on going, but I typically count on $100 per person at fine dining places like this (drinks, entree, sides, dessert). You can go cheaper, but $100 is a good measuring stick.
