The service was slow and the coffee was really bitter. I didn't try anything else so I can't say anything about the food.

Coffee shop has been closed for 4 years building sold to a chain Mexican joint named Don Bedos that I would rate poor for authentic Mexican. More like Tex Mex.

I had lunch at this little restaurant three days ago and I got horribly sick to my stomach..I ordered the special of the day which was a Mexican plate. I noticed that the rice and beans had a peculiar flavor so I stopped eating altogether. Within a 3-4 hrs, I began to feel down right ill and just about ended... More

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. As the owners health has gone done, so has the quality of food. I am sad to have say this, I have enjoyed her restaurant for many years.

I can understand the food being ok, but...golly, a tossed salad (lettuce tomato and two pickles) for $3.95, small guacamole for $4.95 and a small chile con queso for $6.95 is a bit toooo much. I have had better salads, guacamole and chile con queso for less. I guess that is why when they tried here in Harlingen, it didn't... More

I live in McAllen and travel to La Feria coffee shop fo rhe Mexican food and the CHIPS! THE best in the valley......and I run City Cafe in McAllen!
