Great place for friends to meet and eat! Wait staff was pleasant and timely. Food was fresh and hot. The stuffed Jalapeño Shrimp and asparagus were on point. Will definitely go back

We have been to Goode Company Seafood numerous times and we always buy their campechana extra. As usual, it was fresh and delicious! It might be a little pricey but can be easily shared and well worth it. We also had a shrimp poboy which...was also excellent. It now comes with french fries. As a side to share, we ordered hush puppies. This was the first time we ordered them but they were not to our liking. Next time we're there, we'll probably go back to our usual onion rings (really good). Highly recommend.More
a delicious lunch that I tried in this place, it really is one of the best, nothing I've tried can compare to this tasty flavor
Their campechana was so fresh and tasty, and I loved their grilled flounder special and fried green tomatoes. The old train side of the restaurant is really neat, and the waitstaff was quick.
Wife and i had a great seafood dinner here. Fish and shrimp were fresh, waiters were attentive. Will be back.
Visited Goode on the recommendation from our hotel service desk and was not disappointed. We arrived early for our reservation though were promptly seated. Started with the campechana extra- a yummy saucy version of ceviche full of avocado, shrimp and crab. Next week tried a...cup each of the gumbo and the bisque. Both were excellent but the bisque was slightly better. Main course was redfish on the half shell. Quite possible one of the best fish dishes I’ve had. Amazing flavor enhanced from the mesquite grilling and oh so tasty. Can’t comment on dessert. No room.More
This little diamond was hopping busy at 4 in the afternoon on a Friday. The beautifully tiled floors, chrome bar, and exquisite semi circle banquet greet you the moment you walk in the door, immediately followed by a warm welcome from the host. Our waitress...was AMAZING. I savored the best category 5 hurricane while waiting on our seafood platter and fried green tomatoes. The portions were a great value and every piece so scrumptious! I can't wait to come back and bring the family!More
My husband and I have been going to Goode Co. for many years, even before COVID. During COVID we ordered pick up every week and automatically tipped 30%. These past 3-6 months we have begun eating inside the restaurant, making a reservation the same day...we wished to eat with no problems. Today I called before 2 PM to make a reservation and was informed that you do not take reservations. I asked since when? And was told those were the orders for the last 3 months. My husband called and was informed you don't take same day reservations. I had not been told that, though that is inconsistent with our experience. We went early hoping we would get a table. The girl at the front desk, while looking at her reservation pad, just said "it is a 30 minute wait". She never looked up at me, nor did she ask if we would like to sit at the bar. We left. I have never felt so rudely treated when coming to a restaurant. I hope you correct the manners of your people greeting your guests.More
This is the Westpark location in Houston. I thoroughly enjoyed the Campechana Extra- Mexican style seafood cocktail with a special blend of pico de gallo, fire-roasted Anaheim peppers, diced avocado, and shrimp and crab. I prefer to eat the portion as a meal. If you’re...in a group, you will definitely need to get more than one appetizer, since it won’t accommodate all. It’s dreamy and flavorful with a side of nacho chips.More
If you want real seafood but not the best prices compared to others is over priced ... I would not go back again not that much flavor
Great service, very good food. Seafood with their own twist. Service excellent and very friendly. Shrimp not completely fresh.
We make an annual trip to the medical district in Houston. We ALWAYS make time for Goode Company Seafood. On this visit the onion ring appetizer, grilled shrimp, mahi-mahi w crab topper were phenomenal! The food always being great is what has us return- NOW...add the impeccable service! Chris the GM, Jeremy, Aster have service redefined! This trio embodies kindness, grace and compassion. They take those traits to a level that is not often seen in most sectors of 2021 life!! We could all learn from their examples!More
Great atmosphere, service; stupendous shrimp/crab appetizer and empanada, some of the fish in the kebab skewer entree was not cooked through, scary in a seafood restaurant. Might be safer to stick with the bar menu.More
Hi David, we really appreciate your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed service and appetizers. However, we would like to learn a little more about your seafood skewer. Would you mind filling out this form so they can reach out to...More
My wife and I like Goode Company Seafood and usually visit the I10 Location in Houston, but this day we were in the Rice Village area and decided to have an early dinner and stopped at the original Westpark location. We ordered 1/2 dozen grilled...oysters to start and entrees and it all came out at the same time, and no consideration by our Server to space out the appetizer and entrees. The oysters were over cooked/grilled shells were burnt. I ordered fried Shrimp and Fries and my Shrimp were warm not hot and the Fries severely under cooked. My wife ordered the Grilled Gulf Red Fish which was done properly but the Empanadas were maybe warm, again not hot. So the Question we always ask ourselves, Would You Go Back again? Absolutely not and after complaining twice to our Server she did nothing nor got the Manager, so this will be the lkast time we ever go to this location.More
Hi ehhartnett, that is not what we like to hear at all. We are committed to excellence in our guest services and we are sorry that your visit did not meet those expectations. Our manager would like to speak with you directly to learn more...More
Loved the unique flavors of all the dishes we tried. The CAMPECHANA DE MARISCOS was delicious, served in a parfait-style glass with chips on the side. I couldn't get enough of this shrimp and crab combination scooped with tostito chips. The red beans and rice...hit the spot and filled me up as well. The added experience of having it be in a train car was even more unique. The interior gave us a lot to talk about. Fun things to see everywhere. I'm anxious to come back to Houston and stop here again.More
