I have wanted to try this place for a long time and finally did it last name. This is an AWESOME Jewish Deli - wait staff look so professional and are very helpful. The inside is not your typical deli but looks like an upscale restaurant. I ordered a hot pastrami on rye to go and I will say, I... More

Short review...great Reubens in a NYC deli style. It's not cheap but two servings worth, and I'm north of 250 lbs. Well worth the price and good service.

Went with husband and friends. Husband had the fried cod sandwich, and said it was very good. Large portion, enough to take home. I had the chopped liver and whitefish salad platter. It came with potato salad and cole slaw. Very tasty and huge portion. We had the chocolate black out cake for dessert. Again, huge portion. Pretty pricey, but... More

Growing up in NY and always eating in The Stage and Carnegie Deli after monthly visits to Radio City Music Hall and all Broadway Shows. This place is truly an iconic NY deli. The sandwiches are amazing and sky high. The desserts are so delicious and fresh. You will never go wrong. Expect crowds during lunch and dinner. Just opened... More

stopped in for lunch place was crowded, but got seated quickly. Ordered the smoke turkey on rye bread and my husband got the Reuben. The sandwiches are very large, enough to split one sandwich with two people. The turkey was very moist and the rye bread soft and favorable My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Reuben. Their cole slaw was very... More

My wife and I along with my brother and sister and their spouses had a Black Friday breakfast at K&Zs and couldn't have chosen a better spot to cap off a Thanksgiving visit to Houston. If you're looking for the closest thing to a classic NY deli outside of the Big Apple, this is the place...with one exception...the wait staff... More

I saw Ziggy in the movie 'The Deli Man'. When we walked in, I recognized the place instantly. All the Broadway Playbills and caricatures on the walls are all about New York. First thing to know, the portions here are really gigantic. But they're also delish. I love shakshuka and chose this with the eggs less done. The tomato sauce... More

This place reminded me of some of those delis in Los Angeles on Encino blvd. or on Sunset. Huge menu and flavorful product. Not cheap but you will go away happy.

I had not eaten here in quite awhile, since I haven't been to Houston for a number of years. It was as good though as I remembered it. My friend who was with me had never eaten here. We shared a corned beef/pastrami sandwich on rye bread that had plenty of meat for both of us. The sweet potato fries... More

My husband and I decided to go to this restaurant based on past visits. This was a complete disaster. Our salads were served with the wrong dressing - and mine had a dead bug in it! After pointing this out to our waiter including a correction of the dressing, he made no apologies - simply brought another salad. The brisket... More
