Fantastic oxtail tapas, tilapia ceviche and seafood paella! Parking could be difficult, centrally located near Rice University. Pleasant staff and good ambiance. A little on the expensive side ($80 for 2 people - 1 appetizer, 2 tapas, 1 paella shared, a dessert and an alcoholic drink).

Purchased a groupon certificate online to take a birthday friend (party of 4) for mid afternoon celebration! We order some tapas within the coupon limit and had a round of libations and a good time! The smiles were quickly erased once the bill arrived! The charges were doubled the coupon and included an automatic gratuity... We called the server over... More

We opted for a late leisurely lunch on the patio to enjoy the beautiful weather. We started w a couple house frozen margaritas...super tasty. Then we picked 3 tapas to try: Colossal Sea Scallops, Sauteed Mushrooms, Chicken Cordon Blue. Then we asked for a couple suggestions from the super friendly and excellent waiter, and he suggested the Moroccan style sausage... More

Mi Luna is a well-established place in the Rice Village / Medical Center scene. The place is packed during happy hour and on weekends and parking might be an issue at these times. We eat there once in a while, and I decided it’s about time to review the place. We stopped by for lunch yesterday. The place was empty... More

I came across a Groupon deal to this restaurant and it looked nice. Being a foodie, I figured my boyfriend and I could try it. The ambiance at the restaurant isn't any romantic setting, but the idea of a Tapas bar suggests a more group outing atmosphere anyway. Most items on the menu are small bites, but there's also a... This week me and my wife went there to try a new restaurant. We have traveled to Spain a few times and never seemed to find the Spanish food very tasty. "The experience continues". The food at Mi Luna is not good at all. We ordered one of their TAPA platters for 65 dollars, it had eight different things and... More

I'm glad I made it back to Mi Luna. The tapas were fantastic. We had the Beef Skewer, Chorizo Pizza and another cheese tapas with roasted red pepper sauce. Everything was delicious. We really enjoyed the red pepper sauce. It had just the right amount of spice and it was very flavorful. The presentation of the food is very good.... More

Visited here on a Thursday night. Had a good crowd. When we walked in the music was extremely loud. It was so loud that you literally have to talk in the others persons ear for them to hear you. Then we ordered four tapas dishes. The shrimp tapas was $12 and had only six medium size shrimp on it. That's... More

We had hummus, garlic chicken soup, Chicken Padilla, Escargot empanadas , pork medallions, and chicken empanadas. We also had the pitcher of Mi Luna mojitos. Everything was very delicious. The staff were all very nice and helped us choose some of the best dishes ever. Mi Luna is a must!

Nothing special, but I am also not really into Spanish food. I came here with a friend the other night after shopping around Rice Village. I had actually suggested Torchy's first because I just wanted tacos but he insisted on trying something new and we came here thinking it was a Mexican place. However, after being seated (no wait for... More
