Divino is a restaurant and a wine bar. The specialty is Italian wines and food, with reasonable, albeit not extensive, coverage of the Italian boot. The food, mostly Northern Italian, has some Texas influence, and is tasty and of good quality. The wine list includes about 100 wines and clearly focuses on the Northern wine-producing areas: Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino, Friuli... More

The food was good, but it arrived lukewarm. The soup especially was tepid. However the flavors were good. The menu has a nice variety to it with some unusual items (risotto with duck sausage!). The wine list is excellent with lots of obscure and very fairly priced Italian wines.

I love this place. I come here every time I am in Houston. The staff and chef are excellent. I always get the special-whatever it is. Patrick, the chef, does a great job. He loves his work and you can tell by the food he cooks. Roberto is my favorite waiter. If oysters are on the menu as an appetizer... More

The food is never disappointing and the wine list is reasonably priced and extensive. Service is very attentive. Can get noisy at busy times.

This little gem has been around for years and years and has been consistently great for as long as it's been open. Every time I go, I ask myself "Why don't I come here more often?" It's a delightful neighborhood spot where the house greets you as family and every thing on the menu is delicious. This evening I had... More

We were guests for dinner Saturday night. It was obvious this was a neighborhood favorite as host was greeting folks at most tables. Our service was very slow as waiters were more involved at those tables. That being said. The food was good. Not exceptional but very good. Would try again

Excellant Pasta, their Ravioli appetizer was light, tasty and in a ethereal broth, The Lasagna is superb. I have not had Lasagna this light and tasty since attending cooking school in Bologna, Their Risotto was well executed and extremely tasty, A good selection of Italian Red wines complements their menu, I chose a 2011 Tolaini Valdesante which complemented our meal... Took some people here for a nice dinner and we had never been so we were hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint. It had some highs and some lows so here's my breakdown: Ambiance: Romantic, quiet and overall pleasant atmosphere. Liked the feel of the place and I would consider coming here with a large group as they have a separate... More
