We went here our last night in Houston and we were not disappointed. We had seafood tower for the table as our appetizer. Everyone had some sort of a pasta dish and everyone had rave reviews for their dinner. We also have several bottles of a very fine wine. Pasta was hand made and everything has a Sardinian touch. Another... More

Food, service, ambiance and consistency - it's all five star when you have Effisio and Lori Farris at the helm. From intimate meals on the patio with my husband to my mother's 102 birthday in the wine and cigar room, to a room full of cousins showering a dear friend over the chef's delicacies, I feel both at home and... If you're looking for your typical spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, or other pasta… Arcodoro is not your place. If you're in for a wonderful evening and uncrowded space it's fine lamb or veal then Arcodoro is for you. Located right across the street from the galleria a great hideaway with outdoor dining after shopping or before. Be sure and ask... More

It's difficult to find an exceptional restaurant in Houston, because so many offer high quality ingredients, rich flavors, and reasonable prices. Service is one of the few areas a restaurant can shine or fail. The attentive staff made our evening enjoyable with pleasant interactions such as questions about the event we were attending, and thorough explanation of the menu. While... More

Met an old college classmate for dinner while in Houston. Was staying in the Galleria area, so he took me to Arcodoro. Great location, great service, and the food was outrageous!! We had the Tuna Tartare appetizer and I had the Salmon seafood special with Risotto. We had to leave early to pick up another member of the party, so... More

Dear Bill, I can't wait until you come back and try the Seadas. It is an ancient Sardinian dessert and we are probably one of the only restaurants outside of Sardinia that serve it. It is a puffed pastry filled with fresh sheep cheese and mint, lightly fried and drizzled with bitter honey. Thank you for sharing your positive experience... More

In a city that has excellent restaurants, from old time gems, to neighborhood hang outs, to perfect concept restaurants, Arcodoro is way behind the curve. It looks and feels like a charmless Florida, plaster made, faux Tuscan you find on every tourist corner and strip mall. We had a hard time finding something on the menu that actually sounded good... We came in for an early dinner and therefore we were seated right away. We sat outside as the cool breeze was very suitable for such. We ordered the Sardinian sampler appetizers for starters. Good but certainly not spectacular. For dinner we ordered the Linguini with clams and the Margherita pizza. The linguini had a good flavor but the clams... More

Had a business dinner and was thoroughly pleased with the impeccable food and service we experienced. The food was superb and fresh. Our group shared meals and I can highly recommend the lamb, bone in filet, sole, veal, and lobster. With that said, the lamb was done to perfection and my favorite.
