A taste of New Orleans in Houston. Wonderful, friendly service. The menu was diverse and described the dishes well. Seafood dishes were all good - we shared. The turtle soup and bread pudding were standouts. The atmosphere was classy but not stuffy.

This restaurant is stunning and one of our favorites. We were married in their courtyard and had a private dinner for six people in a room upstairs with a view. The area inside and out is perfect for pictures. The dining room is jackets only...More

This is the second time that I have eaten in this well above the average restaurant. It does have a reputation of being a bit snooty though in reality it simply maintains proper standards. We were seated upstairs and with two young Granddaughters along the...More

Went with friends to celebrate the holidays. Brennan’s has a fixed price deal - you choose you main dish and for that price you get a starter and a dessert. Highly recommend the turtle soup and pavan crusted fish. Beignets and bananas foster are great...More

It seems like Brennan's has been in Houston forever. But, it is still one of the classic old time must go to restaurants in Houston. Brennen's hasn't changed much over the years and still has one of the best menus in Houston. You will find...More

Incredible holiday lunch at Brennan's of Houston. Same outfit as NOLA but different sprig of the family. The turtle soup will make a hound dog hug a jackrabbit. I had shrimp and grits, others had crab cakes, and two Filet's. Everyone reported awesome. Service on...More

I never sought out vegetarian options until very recently. Brennan's has an excellent kitchen, always eager to please, in my opinion. I would not be afraid to make a special request regarding vegetarian options or anything... More

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
