We went to Brennan's to celebrate our anniversary this year. I had eaten at the restaurant years ago and had wonderful memories and our recent experience definitely lived up to my expectations. The atmosphere, food and service were all exceptional! Although the Jumbo Lump Crabcake was one of the best I have ever eaten, the Creamy Cauliflower and Brie soup... More

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Robin, we were made to feel very welcome. Our server, Casey was also delightful. The 25 cent martinis were a nice beginning to our lunch. The redfish topped with mounds of crawfish was fabulous. The beignets were also a delicious ending to a wonderful, leisurely lunch in the Main Dining Room.

Brennan's has wonderful food and service. We had brunch there on their 50th Anniversary celebration--what a fun and tasty brunch menu. From duck gumbo to Gulf-fish almandine to tasty berries for dessert, Brennan's is always top notched!

If you like Southern food, Brennan is a classic southern best. They have a Martini for $1 on certain days. Need to check in what days though .The food is consistently good if it gets to your table but the service has been dissapointingly slow. Very slow. It took us over half an hour to get our meal..

We reserved the kitchen table for my birthday and i have never experienced such a night. food just kept coming. The service is absolutely on point and they have so much fun with their guests. They tour you around the facility to see the entire kitchen and then they take you to the wine room. If you want to impress... More

The food here is amazing and the service is impeccable. Their lunch martini specials can't be beat. The brunches are incredible too. This is my go to spot for many anniversary celebrations.

The food was delicious and well prepared. We had craft cocktails to start and then fresh oysters and soups, a variety of entrees, dessert, and coffees. We enjoyed it all and it was quiet so we had great dinner conversation. There is a dress code, which we appreciate, but have not been seated in the main dining room on multiple... More

Brennan's was a very special treat. We had never been to Houston or N.O. before, so something different was in order. The dishes were creative and well done. Wide variety menu offered many choices. Desserts were made in house and well done although was slightly disappointed in the lemon meringue pie. Could swear it was a commercial key lime pie... More

My friends and I chose to go to dinner here for the first time, not realizing it was so fancy! I'm not going to lie, I was extremely nervous to see drink and food prices on the menu when we sat down...but they were actual reasonable for the atmosphere and quality of this restaurant. The service and food were amazing!

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
