This is a great after work hang out. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food taste really good if you like that spicy Cajun flavor. Lots of fun to have you at this place after work

The shrimp were fried well & both tarter and cocktail sauces were good. The boiled potatoes were just that, no butter and needed salt. The hush puppies were sage heavy, which I didn't care for. In all it was decent but won't be added to my list of favorites.
Really fun place......great happy hour, awesome food. Some of the nicest staff around. All the food is great, but I love the Boudin Balls and my son loves their crawfish poboys.
Used to be a regular before I moved away. Good to know that Zachary's is still great! Took a couple of co- workers tonight. One had the muffelatta (sp?) and the other one had crawfish ettouffe. Both of them left happy. If you're in the Kingwood area it is well worth the try!
We were going to a friends house and stopped here to get to go. It was excellent. The boudin balls are my favorite, but all of the main meals were excellent as well. If you are thinking of eating and not sure where to go - definitely stop here!
We are Southern Louisiana natives who stopped in for a cajun food fix after driving in from Arkansas. We tried the shrimp & oyster po-boy, shrimp & oysters platter with red beans and rice, hush puppies green beans, and bread pudding. This is like, sit down fast food cajun. They don't do a lot of cajun dishes and no crawfish during the season outside of already prepared (shelled, fried) but coming from New England I was still rather happy to find some delicious hush puppies, nice etouffe, and more. Good everyday food, no fuss, low price.
Want to eat in Louisiana? But you don't have time to go there. Zackary's is the place to go. The owner is from Louisiana and when he came he brought the best recipes with him. Cajun décor, outstanding food. Live band. Just an overall experience. Oh yes, do you want the best bread pudding around? You'll never be able to... More
