The menu is very similar to any you'd find at a brasserie in Paris, though the prices here are a bit higher. Thursdays and Fridays nights are a made scene, I try to avoid on those nights. My fave time is Saturday lunch or in...More

It's OK, very good service, decor a tad too elaborated for my taste, but still pleasant. The steak I had was good, the French fries a little less good.

Love this restaurant. On a beautiful day, go just a bit early for lunch or dinner, and snag a good table outside. (Good place to experience for out-of-towners, too, as there are some neat stores to visit in the strip center, like Sur la Table...More

In other words....so-so. My husband and I had gone a couple years ago and enjoyed it so we decided to tried it again. With all the incredible new restaurants in Houston, Brasserie 19, while in a choice location, didn’t compare. The server was nice enough...More

In Houston, except for a few very high end restaurants, just about anything goes. It is a nice place, so I would wear nice clothing, even if it is jeans.

Description
Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The chef-driven menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list dedicated to pricing just above retail – a philosophy pioneered by owners Charles Clark and Grant Cooper upon opening their first restaurant, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in cool greys and whites, with antiqued wood and white marble used throughout. Grey leather banquettes and comfortable chairs are paired with white linen and butcher paper-covered tables create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Brasserie 19 will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Sundays.
