Cafe Annie is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston. It is classy and timeless for lunch and dinner. In normal time the food is great and the service is always fantastic. I love the terrace when the weather is good and in winter I love the heat lamps. But we stopped going there for a while for two reasons:... More

Wanting to splurge one night in Houston, I chose to go to Cafe Annie. It was everything I had hoped for. A very, very classy place with one large area designed for comvortable sofas/chairs/coffee table and another large area for dining at tables. It was a truly glamorous place with candles, chandeliers, terrific service. It is pricey with appetizers starting... More

Had a fantastic meal - seafood entrees both of us. Staff was attentive but not obtrusive. Bar area, however, is next to the dining room and the noise was distracting during the meal.

We loved going to Cafe Annie when it was in its old location. The food, the service and the atmosphere were truly exceptional. We recently met friends at Cafe Annie in its new location. The whole space felt a bit peculiar. The entry is lovely but you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the hostess... More

I went yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The waiter from the beginning seemed to be very impatient as it took us some time to look through the menu. We ordered two salmons and a salad. The salad as a decent dinner side but the salmons were a joke taking into account the price. Then we ordered a cake and... More

Booking required as it is the place to be. There is valet parking, but if you are staying in the Post Oak area (e.g. the Hilton across the street) you can walk. Very good bar and also inventive "bar snacks". Don't miss the crab tostata- also makes a good starter and save room for dessert. Good wine list, especially from... More

Cafe Annie has a wonderful history and has recently reopened their doors in a brand new location. The atmosphere is quirkie elegant and the food is absolutely delicious. We are a fun group of older ladies who celebrate just about anything, so this was a perfect choice during Houston Restaurant Month!
