LaVita's Italian restaurant is amazing. It's OPEN 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. A huge menu, with great choices, and very, very reasonable prices!!! You'll love it! They highlight a special at LUNCHTIME every week day, too!!! You can bring in beer or wine. If you bring wine, they will gladly provide you with wine glasses................and there is... More

The outside will fool you, but the Italian food is very good ! This place is located on the north/east side of the downtown courthouse. You can bring your own cocktails to enjoy with your meal...worth a try when your in town.

The restaurant is no longer operating in Glen Rose Texas. The prices were to high for the locals to visit it regularly.

The service was ok. The food was not very good. Cramped quarters. Someone could do more with this. The history was interesting.

Great food and service. Their specialty is chicken fried steak which is hand-dipped so the breading is light. Gravy is delicious with real mashed potatoes. Fried okra was the best! Owners/operators are friendly and glad you dropped in. Their restaurant actually is the site of a former Coca-Cola bottling plant so the historical angle and the great food make for... More
