Our last night in Galveston - had great seafood here. a very festive atmosphere. Dinner on the dock/patio was nice. Would eat here again.

Great place and a great view of pier and water. We set outside and enjoyed cool weather and had great service and great food. Reasonable priced and totally enjoyable. Return to this Resturant is a must.

And there's a reason. Always good service and good food, but there's often a wait. If you can hang out for a bit it's usually worth sticking around for. Sometimes you can see dolphins swimming in the channel and kids love that.

I had a very nice bowl of gumbo. Make sure you get your parking ticket validated. If you visit the museum next door, you get a coupon for free appetizer or desert.

The outdoor dining area backs up to the shipping channel making for great atmosphere. The food (flounder sandwich and crab cake sandwich) and service were both great. Would definitely recommend.

I have eaten at a number of restaurants in Galveston and many of them are very much alike and mediocre. The restaurants are much better in Houston. With that being said, I really enjoy Fisherman's Wharf near the Strand. I usually get the Stuffed Flounder...More

I did read the reviews before going to this restaurant. Obviously, people in the past got lucky. The oysters we ordered had a bad taste to them - I think they were spoiled. Ourr waitress was clueless - poor service , or should I say...More

We attended a luncheon here for 100+, and the food was served buffet style. It was really, really good. Great location overlooking the harbor, too.

Food was greasy and poor quality. I had the salmon and shrimp and it was bad. Made my stomach upset after eating two bites. My husband had the fried oysters and did not like them either. Waste of money. Table was sticky and dirty.

Nice setting out on the patio with views of the waterway and many passing boats. At first I was put off by the industrial feel and commercial boats, oil tanks, etc., but it turned out to be quite entertaining to watch. The outdoor area is...More

Not to my knowledge and we have been there numerous times in all seasons and all kinds of weather. We have never seen even a "purse" sized dog.

Honestly we've never had steak there. We eat seafood, the Texas toothpicks (thinly sliced onion and jalapeño that is battered and deep fried) and Texas 'tea'. The Texas tea is pretty much a Long island iced tea with the... More
