Have been here 3 times and the food is always excellent!!!!! Many different choices that are all great. We ordered two crafts of mimosa and they don't give you them till they bring the food out (which took 30 minutes). Both times was in group of 6 but half food came out 20 minutes before the rest of the food.... More

I usually love this place but today was a disaster. I spent over 40 dollars and am walking away dissatisfied. It took them 45 minutes to bring us our food which was cold by the time we got it.. Everyone around us was served before us.We sat there without even our drinks. The servicers were very busy but less than... More

My wife and I went there for brunch (they serve brunch every Sat and Sun) and the parking was easy and the location was easy to find. You walk up to the counter to order and everyone was friendly. They only serve until 3:00 pm. I got the SOS (biscuits with sausage gravy) and my wife got eggs and grits... More

1st: there is lots of free parking in lot behind the restaurant!!! 2nd: the menu is terrific! So many options! A great veggie bowl, breakfast items, homestyle entrees, salads and desserts!! 3rd: I chose the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans! VERY GOOD! Could not finish it all as the portions are large! 4th: the building... More

near UTMB med center. Order at counter, wait at table for food. Had shrimp and grits - great grits - cheesy with mushrooms, nice flavors, good presentation, and shrimp were wonderful. Others with me also enjoyed their dishes - salads, pasta, poorboys, fried seafood, great variety for all.

We went there for breakfast on Sunday and had the OMG that's an experience in itself the grids have goat cheese in it and it's wonderful the salads are fantastic to. We specially like the goat cheese salad. A lot of the locals from the hospital go there to enjoy lunch and breakfast they have validated parking next-door.

What a find. Near the medical center this cafe has a great breakfast menu. Chicken snitzel with several options waffles, pancakes, eggs and more. I elected biscuits which is not a normal menu choice but they accommodated me. They offer individual mimosas and by the carafe. I found the menu prices medium for Galveston. The menus is quite varied and... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by family who had lived in Galveston. We were surprised to see that you walked up to the counter to order. However, our food came quickly and was served on real plates with real silverware. The atmosphere was fun and busy. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the grilled fish tacos. They were... More

Has this place changed hands. Had lunch today and it was a less than average experience from past visits. I was there with two friends. You order at the counter so we all received a different order number to set at our table. The lunches came out one at a time with a long wait between each delivery. I actually... More

Tasty food and packed with patrons, so you know it is well liked by the locals as well. (It is near the hospital area so apparently many doctors and other personnel walk over.) Food was very good, although it was a bit on the expensive side for what you actually get. You grab a menu and walk up to the... More

Texas Monthly Magazine - "This bright, cheery cafe located near the Medical Center enjoys a legion of foodie fans. Weekday lunches feature great salads, sandwiches, po'boys, and one of our faves-tacos loaded with grilled fish, crunchy cabbage slaw, and a house-made rémoulade that brings it all together. On the weekends we return for a brunch of fluffy biscuits topped with sinfully rich cream gravy and a pitcher of mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ. Oh yeah."
