We had a lovely dinner at the Navajo Grill on our last night in Fredericksburg. We each ordered their special mango margarita as an aperitif - fresh ingredients and delicious. We both tried their soups for that evening - pozole and beer cheese - and they were excellent. Entrees we chose were also winners - filet and lamb tagliatelle. We... More

We enjoyed some nice cocktails , and a great bottle of wine with our meal. The Filet was excellent in all regards and nothing disappointed. On the expensive side , but this is more upscale than most around. Service was definitely a little more relaxed as befits the country location , but nothing to complain about.

Had the steak with Split peas soup. Both were very good. After having some disappointing meals in Fredericksburg it was nice to have a more upscale meal in Fredericksburg that was good quality. It is about 1 mile outside of the main tourist area of Fredericksburg. Service was excellent as well.

The Navajo Grill is still a wonderful restaurant, but we were disappointed in the limited menu choices.

Too bad. What a disappointment after many years of dining there when we travelled thru West Texas, probably 12 to 14. Now I understand why there weren't many people around on a night when practically all other restaurants in town were closed. They've lost it. Blandest food imaginable. I had the duck confit. Tasteless. Green beans were evidently just tossed... More

We dine here at least 2 times a year when we are visiting visiting Fredericksburg. NG offers a staple of hill country dishes-venison, bone in lamb shank, grilled salmon and exceptional salads and gourmet hand made soups. However, the wait staff is inexperienced, untrained, apathetic and not trained in delivering quality service at an upscale restaurant. Be prepared for weak... More

Very nice restaurant located on the main street. The facilities are vey nice with a wonderful covered patio. The food was great, but expensive. The 8 oz. filet $39 was very good, & cooked perfect, but in Dallas or Austin a 10 oz. filet is priced about the same. Captive audience. The appetizer salads were all very good & good... More

On a recommendation by our B&B hosts, we visited the Navajo grill for dinner. Very nice ambiance, amazing appetizers and a steak that was very well-grilled. It had unique herbs and spices that were very pronounced after cooking. The place is not a very high end deal like Morton's or Ruth's, but better. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive wait staff. A... We ate here for dinner and we were truly blessed with the staff and delicious food. We got the filet and it melts in your mouth. The lime french fries were excellent and very different. Great place to go eat. It is a great place to go if you are not on a budget. You have to have a reservation... More

After reading some reviews I was a little nervous because folks tend to have polar opinions on this restaurant. All I can say. Is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful dining experience. I do agree the limited menus allows the restaurant to refine their entrees. We had the pork chop and the steak. Both. Prepared to perfection. Accompanying sides were very good as... More
