Cattlemen's is not a fancy place. They do serve up very good steaks (the Rose O'Texas 9oz sirloin for $41.95 was excellent - juicy and flavorful) and the beer and wine is inexpensive. The rooms, however, look like they're from the 1950s - very simply furnished, old photos on the wall and harsh lighting and the low ceiling gives it... More

We went for a birthday dinner. The food was great. The older lady was our server and asked for our drink order. My husband was reading the different beer they served and she told him to hurry because she had stuff to do. He didn't even get to read off the FEW beers they offered. She was always rushing and... Great steaks. A bit pricey. Lots of ambiance & all the locals come dressed in their best western garb. A bit noisy, but fun.

Quick, efficient service. Older establishment that wasn't too fancy but still had good ambiance. Bread pudding with bourbon sauce finished off a great meal.

When in Ft Worth, this is a must. Old school steak house. It's wonderful and brings you back to the days of god good at great prices. Located in the stockyard area... truly a must try. This and Joe T Garcia are Ft Worth tradition.

I sent the first steak back as it was RAW (like frozen raw). I had pointed at the image of the way I wanted my steak done and it was not even close. the waitress was horrible. I waited 20 minutes for my drink and finally got up and found the manager who moved me to a new location. So... More

Had dinner at Cattlemen's last Thursday night. Friendly staff, great waiter. Appatiser of Fried Calimari was perfect. Friend had the NY Strip, said it was good. I had the Rib-eye. For the price of my steak, I expected more flavor and a more tender piece of meat. Would not go back.

This is one of my favorite steakhouses on Earth. Low key, old fashioned Western steakhouse that serves outstanding beef without all the pretense and glitz you find in the big chains. Definitely as good, or better quality steaks than the high end chains for less money, and they also come with a potato and a salad included in the price.... More
