My wife and I went for lunch around 1:30 and to say that service was slow is a massive understatement. We must have waited for the waitress more than 15 minutes to finally give us a menu. We had both had Menudo and it was good. We also gorditas and they were below average.....no lettuce, tomato or cheese....really! Service was... More

They serve very generous portions more than one could finish in one sitting. The last time I was there it was mediocre and great. Like many chains sometime they miss the mark. The time I was there I was not that inspired. Maybe you will have a better experience. So I will still recommend go see for your self.

As someone who was born and raised on the US/ Mexico border, I can truly say that Cuquita's is legit Mexican food. Casual dining at reasonable prices.

Today was the second time I have eaten at this restaurant and both trips were rewarded by good food. On this Monday noon visit I ate the guiso de res and enjoyed every bite of this traditional stewed beef plate. Not a huge crowd, but enough people were eating to keep four or five waitresses busy.

I really hate to give bad reviews but was so disappointed in the food. I ordered beef and cheese enchiladas. When they were served they were loaded with mozzarella cheese...heavy on the cheese! I remembered the waitress in her accent did mention something about mozarella but being an Mexican restaurant, not an Italian restaurant, it didn't even register. I could... More

I got back to Dallas this last Tuesday and took my cabby, aka good friend, to Cuquita's for lunch. I had the pork ribs luncheon special and they were wonderful as always. Making pork tacos and drinking a horchata is a pleasure that we just don't have in Florida. Great to be back and hope to be back a lot... More

This place has the best enchiladas I've ever eaten but the chips they brought to the table tasted like the came from Big Lots (yuck)! Back to the enchiladas... The green sauce was outstanding and the blended cheeses we're awesome. Pass on the chips and you'll enjoy your meal!!!

Love a good hole in the wall Mexican place but this one just misses the mark. Everything eats but nothing is magical. Meh.

Having eaten here while attending a class we were not pleased. Service was just ok we didn't speak Spanish so a little communication problem but not horrible, tables around us got chips, salsa, tortillas and butter. We only got what we asked for the food was just ok. I wouldn't go back at all. It blows my mind that this... More

My 2nd time here in 3 months. Both times with friends and for breakfast on the weekend. This is a pretty good place. Really like the Huevos con Chorizo; the Huevos Rancheros are good as are the Chilaquiles. The Lemonade is the real stuff. Super good (no free refills). The homemade flour tortillas are really good and served hot off... More
