I can't add anything that has not already been said. If you want the REAL DEAL Texas brisket, ribs, chicken and sides this is the place. Plain and simple. You simply wont find a better meal or a more classic place to eat. So go eat!!

We've eaten here a number of times in the last several years. A week ago, 6 of us traveled an hour to eat at Salt Lick BBQ. I knew from past visits here that the star (for me) is the Smoked Sausage. This visit, I ordered the full-slab Baby Back Rib dinner and 3 pounds of Smoked Sausage to go.... More

We arrived at this oasis in the middle of nowhere and were dazzled by the amount of vehicles in the parking lot. This place was definitely hopping on a warm Saturday night. The mass of people in multiple lines was a shock, bit we joined right in. It's pretty good BBQ, but what made the night was the festive atmosphere... More

On a Saturday afternoon in mid February, we arrived at 4:30 pm to a crowded parking lot and a 1 hour 45 minute wait. We were, however, prepared. We had a cooler of cold beer, and no other plans for the evening. We spent the time on the peaceful, shaded waiting patio, chatting with the friendly and interesting clientele and... More

My husband I were stoked to go here on a recent trip to Austin. We read a lot of good things about the BBQ. We went early on a Thursday evening and it was virtually deserted which was nice since we read about such along lines. Our waitress was friendly but not very good. My husband and I both ordered... About 20min SW of the center of Austin. You can watch them smoke the meats in the pit! Best BBQ in. the. world. They have a full menu, but most choose the $24.95 family style all you can eat which includes brisket, ribs, smoked sausage, non-mayo potato salad, non-mayo cole slaw, baked beans, onions & pickles, and bread. They give... More

I guess that I missed this place by a few years. Unfortunately all of the hype either had my expectations so incredibly high or just due to the commercial nature of things, the quality begins to suffer. Was there for business and my business partner had gone countless times over the years, but it was my first visit. Wasn't bad... More

I have had more delicious ribs and brisket at food trucks in Texas. New recipes are needed for the beans, coleslaw and potato salad as they were unappealing. So disappointed.

What could be better than home style BBQ and BYOB. I mean this place is all about filling up your belly!! Burn ends and Brisket are my favorites. I can't say enough good things about this other that I ALWAYS eat too much!!
